  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Joel's garage is tiny, I don't know how he does it. My garage is pretty decent for a single garage, if I park the passenger side close to the wall, I can pretty much fully open the drivers door.
Joel is of athletic build and runs, i only run to catch Greggs before they close.
I have a ramp on one side and reverse it in like a stunt driver, wedging it in at an angle. I tried the shrink ray gun on the wife’s car but I’m still trying to find that; the calibration was off spec.

On night shift this week huh.

And there's me thinking you must have done something like this...

Project 1547 - Out of the Blue

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

I’ve just got back from a nice chilly afternoon thanks to Nickz32. One of his friends is a photographer who does shoots for several magazines and Nick sent him a couple of pics and details of my car a couple of weeks ago to run by the editors. Bizarrely, of all the magazines to want to run a feature, Banzai magazine came back wanting to do a full 6-7 page feature on the car! [emoji41]

So today was the day, the weather was cold but there was some awesome light for a fantastic collection of shots. I had a great afternoon and the best part about it was that the shoot location was only 4.3 miles from my house, result! We had a great afternoon and I really look forward to seeing the final article in a couple of months or so.

It’s very interesting to think that times are changing from an audience that I would mostly associate with wild body kits and massive wings, to an appreciation of stock(ish) bodied “OEM+” examples. Either way, it’s great to get the Z32 out there some more.

The ground was really not too bad at all, a very small amount of the fine stuff on a 300m stretch of a country A road, but the rest of the 8 minute journey was navigated through unsalted and dry B roads so an awesome winters drive. [emoji41] Nevertheless, I gave the car an extensive strip down underseal and cavity wax about 6 years ago (which took over a year to complete in my tiny garage with the car up in the air and all 4 wheels off!) and has also had the accessible areas touched up by Jimmer over the years. I try to do a full inspection of all the nooks and crannies around once a year, including the cavities and I did this only a few weeks ago using a borescope kit so I’m happy that I have suitable protection for a one-off trip to mark another cool chapter of my Z’s history!

Good work squire!!!!

Hope its fitted in the correct direction.....

I was waiting for someone to say that. I mean it does have an arrow saying engine... I'm not that stupid I hope you know.

Other than deleting it in the first place!
Shhh we can skim over that fact.
The word engine should be on the engine side, the arrow points to the servo.

Guys it's the right way. Trust me on this.

As Andrew's diagram, engine and arrow point to the engine (you can see the raised ridge on my picture is booster side), and it pulls vacuum that way. And I did test it with a blow to make sure it wasn't faulty.

Obviously this would be reversed on a left hand drive vehicle as the arrow would point the wrong way. :smartass:

No, the engineers at Nissan avoided this issue by installing the pedal box on LHD cars into the RH footwell. It can be a pain at times without a passenger to help but you soon get used to leaning over to steer and all that important other controlley stuff.

Dude, go take a dump or something useful!

Wheel refurb complete on zeb, well pleased with the results just darkened the ctrs a little compared to how they used to be.

Used a local guy (literally 2 streets from me) who took em off sprayed em and came and refitted them as well. So very impressed with his service.
