  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

When I got the Zed last year it came with a spare set of front callipers which had been painted lime green, initially thought that would be awesome, but now all that is gone and have now been painted red. looks so much nicer still trying to get the NISSAN in white to look right but needs a bit more time.

In for MOT today and whilst there the garage is going to look at why I have a drone at around 2k revs, car sounds awesome but at 40/50 mph can be really annoying, so looks like a couple of silencers pre back box.

also fibre glassing a centre console to hold a double din unit, this has been a long time project just haven't put all my effort into it, so hopefully I will have it all fitted for the drive down to beaulieu.

ok did a wee bit on ma broom broom a bit on ma TT and a wee bit on the vert.. so the TT had a little make over..

I have a new boot lid with glass to go in but still like the look now, not sure..

Just ditch that fibreglass thing on the boot, you know you want to! It should never have been made in the first place!

;)

Just renewed my subs, so if gaz or someone can reinstate my membership perks I'd be grateful

It did say to pm gaz, but can't if my subs expired? Lol

Spoken to the police looks like the local gypos have decided to weigh in my factory alloys for scrap. Came home cover in middle of garden wheels gone.

That's bad mate, was it the chrome powdercoated ones? Worth ringing round the scrap yards?

Sorry to hear that Ian.. The thieving b****ds have had several things from my garden.. Enough to make me spend a small fortune on home security cameras now.

I've chased them off before, caught them taking my neighbours kids bikes from out of their front garden and they had only got them that day for their birthdays..

Very irritating and also very annoying when the police don't seem to be able to do much..

I've found around my way its mainly Romanians and alike that are driving round in vans and stealing stuff more now rather than the classic gypsies of the past..

Whoever it is regardless, it's illegal and extremely bloody annoying when you can't leave things in your own property without fear if it going missing..

Hope you manage to get them back Ian..

You should be up and running now Paul - I have even restored your colour coding for NEO privileges...

Thanks for your support mate:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

We still have traditional gypsies round here. There's a guy that collects scrap on a horse and cart, he's no bother, only takes what you leave at the end of the drive. Won't come on the drive or come knocking, he just says "put it on the verge mush and il take it." We don't have any Romos this part of town and I think tbh the traditional gypsies wouldn't take kindly to their turf being invaded.

Romanians are grand bud, it's just the gypsies and travellers that should be killed :)

Installed a boost gauge, what do you think? I have another 5 gauges to go in line:

That is nice, hope you're going to drill a 8mm hole for the cabling and then hide it all tidy like under the base, hate it when you can see cabling :whistling:.

You can then do the same with the other 5 but make sure you get them all level, i've seen it done before and they're all over the place :2guns:.

No no no no no no no!!! You need to trail the cabled across the dash - even nail in a few of those little white things, just to keep it tidy...

There is about as much chance of you doing that as fitting one of these on your steering wheel:

That's very stylish Andrew - why would he not fit one....:lol:

My bay is starting to look all enginey again. [emoji106] The vvt solenoids are resealed and the rocker covers are now torqued down with new crush washers. The plenum has been modified to allow clearance for the (new style) connector on the #1 and also to give access to all 6 injector fasteners without plenum removal.

A couple of tidy up jobs to do with the plenum off (it's only slaved on) then it'll be the final push and function/leak checks. After that, I have to install the ebc harness and vacuum hose through the passenger side wheel arch and into the glove box.
