  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Ordered new shoes for the Zed today.... Continental SportContact 5's all round. Getting them fitted this Saturday:)

Got these today, you can have fitment issues if you've got larger intercoolers but not me as they fit a treat and i have pace smic's.

Just a trial fit for now but i think it'll be just indicator in one chamber and the other i'll put in a bright white kerb light, that will come on when i signal that corner.

I've completely lost track of all the jobs I've done and the countless hours I've spent on that car over the last few days/weeks ignoring the kids!

Still, without sounding too modest, it is looking mighty fine, driving beautifully and is all packed ready for an early departure on Thursday for a weekend away (a date with some friends [emoji41])

Work tomorrow for a quick interim money earning session!

I'm going for a bit of a tache :cool3:.

This is in just primer, the gunmetal is on and all tucked up in the garage for the night.........just need to lacquer tomorrow.

That'll look nice Andy... More pics tomorrow!

I'm interested to see how this "partial 'tache" turns out! :)

Which one?

Type 3. Might paint the small lip on the bottom black & the rest white.

flew through MOT today with an advisory for rear tires - Never let me down in 3 years! Definitely the most reliable car I have owned.

Although it all worked i had an incredible amount of wiring/soldering/tape in this area as i had switchback lights and an inline module and due to the purchase of some new indicators my train of thought now is to tidy things up.......keeping things simple and below is a picture to prove.

One chamber is for the indicator and the other an incredibly bright white smd bulb, the same as what i use for the reverse lights and this will come on (kerb light) when i indicate that corner but i will need to have the dipped light on for it to get it's 'live', this is the stock JDM set up btw.....if you like a kinda 1990's factory switchback .

Think that will look nice Tom:)

Got my new continentals fitted today... She felt like a different car on the way home.... Amazing difference especially in this weather! :)

Also looks nicer as they are now on lower profiles... Way to big before!!

Dropped off my car at LA Autos today. Lee & Sam were great, gonna get her serviced and given the once over. The guys were great fun and really, really knowledgeable. I cannot wait for Lee & Sam to work their magic :-)

I finally gave my car a full service and took it out for a quick spin.

Zero traction on the standard wheels when the turbos kicked in though..... My cheeks still hurt from smiling, I actually forgot how much fun it is to drive lol

Ordered a Sony DAB cd player today, should look alot tidier when I swap the old one:)
