  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Mine is a series 2, completely different loom.

I have traced it back to the ignition relay and even that is not getting power.

Not sure if its any use to you lee but i have a good working series one ptu in my spares dept if you want to try it mate?

Pretty certain you'll be using series 2 but if you need it, let me know mate

Seems strange that the power wouldnt be making it to the relay?

I would have suggested the ignition barrel but if its turning over that rules that out...

Where does the power supply stop?

not getting power the the relay so need to trace back from there.

The next place is the 30amp fuse next to the rear left of the engine, but i dont think that is blown.

Well hope you get to the bottom of it mate.. these things are sent to try us huh..

Im sure you'll get it sorted lee.. good luck

Full brake flush today from ATE Super Blue (no longer available) to ATE TYP200 brake fluid (same DOT4 spec but not

blue). The colour change from blue to amber made things a lot easier in knowing when the old brake fluid was completely

flushed out. 10 bleed nipples and 1.5 liters later the job was done. The blue tube has a one way valve on the end and

the reservoir is clamped to the brake disc with a magnet.

Project 1547 - Out of the Blue

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

Treated myself to an afternoon off so got some small jobs done I've been meaning to do for a while. First I finished the car port/garage off, no driving rain will be getting in any more. Then fitted the door pillar trim & a very nice mirror switch which looks like it's never been touched.

Cool - always been a model railway fan; but I left my old layout at my parents' house back in the mid-90s as it was too big to take when I left home..... And I've never had the time or space to build another since

It's something I would like to pick up again in about 5 years, I reckon....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Same here Richard, I had a big layout in my mum & dad's garage but had to dismantle it when I left. This new one is much smaller so loads of spare track left over but happy to have it back up & running.

Thought I’d clean car over weekend and of course put back in garage and cover it over.A18F1540-6ECD-4460-8D39-5598B0A0D222.jpg

Just checked the gov site and MOT time is looming!

Its due end of February so guess its time to start the preperations...

Have to fit rear reflectors, fog light and replace the eagle eyes again as the offside side lights and indicators have got wet and fried again!

Cheap chinese S#%t LEDs! Gonna have to spend some time trying to waterproof the new ones properly to try and make them last longer..

Anyway, once these jobs are done, its fingers crossed time again lol

Are you talking about the lights in your rear clusters? Can’t you get Hella units to fit in those?

Today, I started the Zed and drove it out of the garage.....

…..So I could get to the rear of the car and replace the boot catch. Had an issue with the interior light not going out when the boot was closed. Changed the catch (£25 from Ebay) and all is well once more....

Finally had chance to inspect my new sill in daylight. It's good and solid.

No driving though, snow ploughing is not one of its fortés.

Took the impul to Keith’s for new impul front bumper to be fitted and front end repaint again, thanks keith
