  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

I changed the rear HICAS ball joints on mine, absolute pig of a job.

I had to take both the rear hubs off and press them out with a vice and sockets (massive extension bar and brute force is needed if you try this)

Fitted new federal 595rsr tires, Passed the biannual inspection and killed my clutch. Quite the day b6a4e8cfdeb2a998d980409bfafb3210.jpg

I'm just about to give my Zed a wash......

......I took it out for a run up to Kenilworth Castle last Sunday and have been using it ever since....

And I bought a couple of bits from Luke, ready for it's trip down to Bristol in a week or two. Si and Jimmer are in the know, but I'm saying no more at the moment.....!!

Im going to pick up on a minor flaw in your description Chris......just to explain what occurred.

I didnt actually "drift" round that island. "drifting" implies some degree of sliding, skidding and tyre spinning.

When we went round the island I drove it round. I was in control with no loss of traction. You did of course hear the tyres "chirp" in protest but that is normal .

Of course it was all over in a flash and we were then headed back up the bypass having completed the full 180 turn before you realized what was happening.

It was difficult to tell who was having the most fun!!

So when do I get the same treatment considering you're only 10 minutes away? Plus my Zed is currently off the road having some minor TLC!

Cheers,

James

Had a great day out with Kamil to a south east meeting..

Great food and some nice cars including some ac cobras and a few classic yanks too..

Collected a small fortune of parts too, ready to bring my old girl up a little..

Just want to check.. These cars are worth the same as Ferrari and lambos aren't they?

Otherwise the £680 Bill for these bits may turn out to be steeper than hoped lol..

Looking for the loreal badge on the car somewhere.. But then we all know they're worth it huh
