  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Zcentre do one like that, but I was wondering where that one was from, and perhaps get one for under £65. Just trying to shop around really.

I want one lol

As its dead space on the dash, i prefer them there than running down the pillar, which for me would be off putting in my eye line

I agree, IMO its the most sleek and best looking place to put them, the only drawback is that you have to destroy your dash.

I prefer nothing on the dash. Wouldn't want to break up the swoopy lines.

The best place is without doubt in one of the DIN slots. That's where I'd put them and would revert to a single-DIN head unit.

A-pillar pods are not nice though - about as graceful as sheep klinker.

I poss wood agree si but Iv got the blitz there so I'm going back to a single din image.jpg

Why it is no such a bad idea to strip the interior after 26 years and beat the crap out of the carpets

Cheers Dan, I'm made up with it,and the new style lights he's done where the 300 a panel lights up on braking, and for a few seconds the 300zx panel flashes then static,I love it:)

That's brilliant what andy has done,

That red plenum really stands out, I think a red plenum always look good on a black car just need some red hard pipes and black couplers

My seat belts were retracting very slowly and it was beginning to annoy me.. So took out some furniture polished and lathers the whole belt (mainly the back side of it) in Polish and wiped that through.. Now working better! Not perfect but I don't need to aid them up anymore

I got my retractor mechanism refurbished by safetybeltsystems and they fly back up now.

I agree with Simon on the dash lines.. Cutting a hole in the dash is sacrilege to me.. They do look nice but I prefer the gauges on the A pillar myself. The gauges with the most Important information I feel should be in the line of site.

The din is also a good place to have them but my own preference is the A pillar particularly cos you don't have to butcher anything to fit the A pillar 3 gauge pod..

Each to their own though..

If I didn't have to cut a hole in the dash, I'd have probably gone for the dash set up

Washed the car today after my cat had decided to put her mucky paws all over my bonnet! Then polished up my exhausts ready for Preston Supercar meet in the morning:)

New targa seals are on. Just waiting for my rear wiper seal from the US now and hopefully that'll be no more leaks.
