MOT is coming soon and I recon I might need to do the rear brakes. What disks and pads are best to get?

 

It's a GTR 33 setup I have

Ok so you put up a pic and link to the ones you were offered or bought, yes??

What am saying is as you are ONLY asking about rears (unless thats changed) then what you posted previously will do the job unless you wanna pay the extra for the wiper slots, yes?

 

If you were looking for any fronts, then as Nick says go for wiper slots as it's the fronts you need the best performing brakes.

The picture I put up is the ones I was offered in place of the wiperslots that I actually bought (the ones you linked paul). And they are no longer available. I have the wiperslots on the front so its just the back I need but don't want to buy crap ones

The rear brakes don't work as hard as the front so they will be ok. Obviously the company you paid for the 4000's should reimburse you the difference.

Well they are saying they'll give me them for the same price, but I only paid £144 for them. Not too sure what these ones I've been offered are worth.

Ah well if you didn't pay for 4000's and only 144 quid for these, looking at the website i'd say you done okay, especially now you know for rears the importance isn't the same as the fronts!
