Going back to a Viscus Fan!!

Well going to to some shows last year and my zed did not like the heat one bit with the electric fan kit, so therefore I'm going back to the viscus fan & YES JEFF TT You were right i

I should of listened to you!!!

viscous all day..a bit noisy on start-up but if stuck in traffic they are reliable and you always have the aircon electric fans that cut in when its getting critical anyway

Totally agree! Viscous fan all the way, so long as they are operating correctly that is.

Some can appear to be drawing air when rotating, but in reality, they are merely rotating due to drag.

When fully engaged, (once the engine is exceeding operating temperature.) you should be able to hear a positive roar of air being pulled through the blades.

As the car speed passes 30 or 40 mph the fan will gradually revert back to drag until such time as the engine temp requires it to cut back in. say in traffic for example.

Yep had enough removed A/C unit and rad, new 55mm rad fitted, still hot in summer, I had a talk to Jeff over the phone ages ago, he told me to remove the electric fan unit but i was not giving up, But how wrong i was!!!

Its now removed and in the bin!!!!!!

Got my new Viscus fan back from the sprayers today along with a new look boot will stick pics up soon.
