Took my 4 UK rims to the powder coaters today to get painted...

"do better than that,how about Chrome silver with laquer" said him

Yea Tom..Uk 9" on 4 corners but performance 16" tires are getting a bit thin on the ground these days

You getting them done somewhere local? Wanna get my new wheels on soon but will have to respray them myself to save some money.

yea local Tom...tell you next time i see you and have a looksie see what ya think.It was get new 17,s same old same old or refurb the OEM,s which i actually like as a wheel and the feel of them when driving

The uk spec alloys look so much better than the imports, be different having them on the front as well. You'll probably start a new trend.

I'm interested to see how they look....

 

The silver breaker in the threads at the moment has the front and rear wheels mixed on one side, had to look twice at them!

read this the other day and checked them this afternoon, is it the silver breaker i've got on the go, i cant tell the difference

Got them back today...very happy with the colour and finnish,much harder than paint and well up to the job.

They look the nuts, very shiny...

Dont some American zeds have chrome wheels, good thing with powder coat compared to polished is u aint gotta keep polishing them..

they look the nuts bud, Im a big fan of the stockers. Its just a shame there so small, if they were 18" they would still be on my car.

Ive always had a thing for the USA chrome stockers and this is the next best thing without having 2 tubes of pollishing paste and rags in the glove box :whistling:...problem is with UK 16,s is the low choice and high costs of rubber

and your forced to retain the biscuit brakes lol.

Nah full seal re-build and new fluid front and back and theres nowt wrong with these brakes on Zeds...the problem lies with pistons so seized after 20 years even 130 psi of air cant pop em out to re-build.

I like them a lot Bri just some good rubber now and your getting there.

ps. Make sure you put the tyres on the right wheel, like what I didn't..!! lol
