Monday Thursday Friday for me :( that's bad enough I feel for u mate

working Saturday & Sunday.... then Wednesday, Thursday & Friday....

 

 

 

but got 5 days off after that.. :)

me just off on crimbo/boxing day thats it .. its what happens in retail :(

Nights Xmas eve till 0700 Xmas day!

Been off since last Friday and go back on the 7th. Sorry guys! On the flip side 6 days later I'm off to Afghanistan for 5 months!

I'm working Xmas eve and Xmas day then off then back to work again woo the joys of working on a bar

I got my first Xmas off in about 8 years!! But in at 7am Xmas eve pah!

Not me - I finished Friday and I have 2 weeks off; returning to work on Monday the 7th.....

 

....And I feel for you guys working over the festive season; but ask yourselves one question. Are you really missing much? Christmas Day isn't what it used to be when you were a child - it's just another day now and most of us waste it by eating/drinking too much and having to be nice to family members we spend the rest of the year avoiding!!! Christmas Eve though, that's different! I still love Christmas Eve now, just as much as I always used to - so much so that in all my working life (26 years) I have always made sure I've never actually been at work Christmas Eve...

 

Working or not, wherever you are; and whatever you are doing, have a very merry Christmas and may 2013 be good for you and those you hold dear.

I like it as the kids excitement is contagious! Although I guess the excitement of the youngest wont be strictly genuine considering he's only 3 weeks old!!

Like Paulzx I'm at work on Xmas Eve night till Xmas Day morning... and then Xmas day night till Boxing Day morning, so I guess you could say, technically I'm not working Xmas Day, at the expense of overrated sleep!

Before i switched jobs to commissioning 3 years ago i was on shift, in 17 years i worked either Christmas eve/day or new years eve/day on nights!!!!! So glad to be off shift!!! Nights are for owls & Burglars!!!!
