A yellow sticker that could cost so much...

A nice zed arrived this evening at the workshop via the AA, the sticker on the windscreen illustrates the perils of driving in bad weather, left it unchecked as time was getting on, so will see what tomorrow brings...have a bad feeling though....shame.

News not good, despite the amount of water ingress looking small the engine is siezed tight, bent con rods are the most likely cause of this, awaiting the insurance co. answer now.:sad:

bloody hell .. what speed was he doing wouldnt of thought it would bend rods due to low comp ?

I had a V6 merc in the workshop the other day that had sucked water in - oil pump had been thrown through the sump pan and was sitting on the subframe & a big hole on either side of the block! Nasty!

Jimmer did a grand job with my rod. I had a nicely bent one so he pulled it off, the climax of his work still gives me pleasure today.

I backed outta going through a puddle today after watching the landy infront get water half way up.its doors!

I'm sure it won't as most are either on axle stands or tucked away until the one week of good weather we have each year lol
