I suppose the could ideally they should be changed to braided hoses as they generally eliminate this happening,

It only seems to be 300zx owners that only change to braided when upgrading there turbos

All others like 200sx, skyline, supra ect change to braided regardless wether putting a standard or uprated turbo on

Probably cause were all tight..

Cheers for the reply, was just wondering really..:)

soak them in thinners over night then a blow through with compressed air and you have saved money for new water feed pipes which will be a lot worse i bet:wink:

Lol yea water pipes will be crapped up aswell,

The thing is with the oil feeds that when you've been out engines real hot when you come to a stop and turn the engine off the oil left in the pipes then to bake as there's no flow this in time builds up,

With braided pipes there internal diameter is thicker and help reduce clogging up also dispense the heat a little better

Have you got a link please, Im gonna be doing this soon but was automatically just going to use the old pipes and braided seems a better idea :)

They sell them on eBay, and also hose solutions do a kit, I'd highly reccommend braided hoses

Anybody doing this be sure to fit the correct hoses, the most common hoses are intended for ball bearing turbos and have an oil restrictor, this will prove fatal to a thrust bearing tub such as the t25 if wrongly fitted.

Yep good one Jimmer forgot to say that the kits I've seen the restrictors screws onto the turbo and then the braided line onto the restrictors so even if you can only. Find kits with them just leave them out when fitting the lines

Ah thats cool mate, I was pretty impressed and poor but impressed.

Did you get the full rebuild then? thought you rebuilt them yourself??

Thats right I did, they inspected them for me matched a kit(free of charge) I rebuilt them then they cleaned them up on the cores and balanced and clocked them for me :)
