Well the car is back from the paint shop and the Stillen lip is fitted.....

 

.....along with one or two other bits of paintwork tidying. Here are a couple of phone-pics for now; it was raining when I got home so I'll take a few more with my DSLR once I have waxed the car later on!!

Thanks fellas, I'm really pleased with it - and yes Gaz, the moustache is satin black; which I reckon suits the front end pretty well!!

 

They decided not to paint the number plate mount though - strange choice - but not a big issue as I can sort that later if it bugs me.....

 

.....I now have the crystal indicators I got from Mark Derby to fit in place of the smoked UK-spec blanks; and I'll either add some J-spec fogs or work in some kind of LED running lights like Daz has on his 'vert. Unless I try that and don't like the look that is - in which case I'll keep it as is!!

Thats gotta be one of the nicest additiond to a standard look bumper there is.

i love the way it levels the front of the bumper and gets rid of that recessed lower half look.

Cheers Dave - and that's exactly why I went for it mate!! I like the stock look but there is an "over-bite" thing going on with it - and the 99-spec is quite a pouplar upgrade now. So having seen Andy Isherwood's car I too thought I'd go for the Stillen lip as not many others have it..... Yet!!
