Evening boys and girls

im thinking about getting new wheels and tyres for my uk zed

ive found a set of rota staggerd with tyres but i have concerns over the width of tyres they have on

fronts are 235/40/18 ,,8.5 wheels

rears are 265/35/18 ,,9.5 wheels

does anyone have a set with this tyre size on there zed and is there any rubbing from the inner front arch on full lock also rubbing on the rear arch

mine also have hicas

i dont want to piss about with rolling the arches as the wheels are a grand to buy.

i've got pretty much the same on my car 235/45/18 9j on the front and 265/40/18 10j on the back and my z is lowered and i have had no problem at all except excessive wear on the inside of the rear tyres. But that is nothing that a set of camber adjusters can't fix.

235/35/R19 on 8.5J Front, 265/30/R19 on 9.5J Rear, they are 19" Rims but the car isn't lowered (another job!)

thats my old sizes mate and I ran with no issues whatsoever.

All I can say is... get some 12" wide ones for the rear

baz,,,, ive seen yours looks expensive

eeeeeeeermmm you could say that :whistling:

Rota do some very nice wheels, are you keeping it a secret which ones you are thinking of?

That should be just fine mate - i have the same wheel/tyre sizes and my car sits on MeisterR coilovers; lowered by about 25-30mm and there's no problem at all with rubbing. It's all good..... Go for it!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Ideal offsets are front 22 and rear 35. So the fronts will be fine but set back but the rears may well sit out a bit and if lowered will need arches rolled

Agreed, the offset figures are just as important as the width and tyre size, do a bit of research as for the wheel you are after there are many examples of it fitted in the different offsets available.

I prefer the concave design of the 9.5" width rim, the 8.5" rim looks too flat imo. The 9.5" up front et30, I believe will fit with a nice offset but deffo do a bit of research :) If you still want them staggered and want the 8.5" up front they are available in a multitude of offsets.

so ive been looking into this set of wheels and ive been told they have a et30 offset ,,so ive been looking at them and im thinking i would like a little more dish on the fronts and alittle more on the rears ,anyone on here got a set of rota gtr on there zed with bigger offsets and if so can i see a pick of what they look like on

any info and pics would be great as im only gona get one shot at getting the wheels right

yes i have rotors on with f8.5=235 r9.5=265 ... they have a very very little stretch ... Ideally could do with 245&275

15mm spacers on front rear arch's rolled and flared a tiny bit ... as they did catch on rear due to being lowered

The rota gtr is available in 19" but only 19x9 et20 (good for the fronts) and 19x10 et20. So until they produce a higher offset for the 19x10 (et35?) they are not really an option unless you like this crazy stretched tyre, negative camber malarky!
