After polishing the plenum and originally polished the cam covers, i felt it was too much and needed breaking up with some colour, so having some cans filled with the colour that the car will eventually be, i got to work and sprayed the covers and the balance bar.

Still got the coil pack brackets and the cambelt covers to do yet and the throttle cover to tie it all together.

Here are a couple of shots with the covers polished, as you can see, there is no definition:

And painted:

And got my japspeed manifolds fitted, although still have to get the drivers side O2 sensor hole moved:yes:

Looks fantastic Graham!

Did you polish the plenum yourself, or send it off? it looks awesome!

Cheers guys, i polished the plenum myself. It will get another quick final buff when i bolt it all back together, everything is just laid on for the minute to see how it will look. When im happy it will all be bolted, using polished allen bolts for everything visible.

My plenum is off at the mo for a water bypass, would love to polish it whilst its off but looks like a mega mission! How long did it take you and what did you use?

Took about 30-40 hours over a period of a few weeks. Being a lazy git, i used everything machine based i could, to make it quicker or less tedius from a power file to an orbital sander using different grades, then onto wheels, course to polishing mops.

Hi Jason, i finished the soundproofing up to the back seats, just had some more delivered to do the rest of the car. The boot panels will be off soon to be flocked, like Anthony has just done, then i have a powered sub thats going to be hidden so the boot as a whole is still useable, im not going down the route of mega boot builds like some of you guys, i need the space for shopping lol.
