My Car is finally away to the car park in the sky, I have a final picture taken by the wife as I was working, for me sad to see but hopefully in the future when finances prevail I will deffo get another.

I have just subscribed but more than likely wont be around as much. I have wings/bonnet/targa tops/doors which I will list soon as well as a radiator and some other bits n bobs.

Cheers John

Ah thats a shame john! Only a matter of time though, fear not. Several parts of that car ended up in both my grey zed and all the interior is in my silver one :)

'Tis indeed a sad sight John.....

.....but on the upside your ZX's demise has helped a few more cars to live on (a bit like carrying a donor card, I guess).....

.....and hopefully you'll soon be in another mate.

Richard:cool2:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

RIP another Z.

^ good idea Rich  perhaps we should have donor cards which say in the event if an accident, parts (such as intercoolers, PTU and gas struts) can be donated to other Zs. perhaps the Z could 'sign' the card by inking a tyre and driving over the back of it.

[what am I talking about?]

Sad thing is my reason for breaking was purely financial as I am 15 months into being self employed with my own business so anything made from selling bits of the car is put into the business. For me 100% it is sad to break my car, it had a few rust spots wheel arches etc but it wasnt that bad, only the fact that i'd probably be looking at getting a grand or so selling as a complete car that the decision was taken to break.

I have been looking about on ebay etc no doubt the future will bring something my direction, another zed, well I wouldnt rule it out.

Steve I joined here is September 2002 approx and bought the car off a forum member called "Johnboy" in Maidstone, I got the overnight bus down to look at the car and had the roadtrip of my life driving all the way back to Glasgow, its hard to believe that time has passed.

All the best guys and cheers for the replies.
