whats the most expensive car your zed has made look rather silly

obviously zeds are fairly quick not the quickest but pretty dang quick and alot of people seem a little surprised by how quickly you loom on them and the shiny new 2 seater "sports car" so out of interest who has out run what. and what is your zed running bhp...auto/manual etc

me and my mate had a little test of speed, he has a stripped out scirroco witha 2.0 16v passat engine in it good ratioed box. power to weight its quite a weapon been burning a few cars in it. well he kept up till 60 then the zed just breezed on without it. and ive done a 350z he really didnt look to pleased

Not a hard task, but I love it when m3`s become a fading view in my rear mirror :cool3:

Also ,I`m yet to have a proper race with my mate in his E55 amg, but theres not much in it from the lights, but from 70 onwards i think he will be pulling away quite rapidly

A few smaller cars, subaru's and the like could either keep up, or pull away at lowspeed. As soon as er motorway speeds approached it ate them alive(manual340bhp).

I used to race against a porsche boxter with his £1500 exhaust + on the airfield road stuck to him like glue.I think with a dual road I would of had him...

I live not far from a US airbase + its a delight to flash a yank tank to get outta the way.lol.

few months back when the weather was nice, an asshole in his porsche boxster pulled alongside with the obligatory blonde bimbo in the passenger seat, the mrs was in the car with me and she said "if he goes for it rip him a new 1" well thats all the encouragement i needed so when he floored i obviously went for it, it was all over so quickly the mrs said the bimbo just hid her face and the guy was not best pleased she waved at him on on the way by so that didnt help, but made my year, so 21yr old japanese car 1 piece of brand new piece of german crap 0 :devil2:

did the exact same thing on the way to work with 3 lads in the car- porsche gave it the beans so i smoked him, when he pulled along side me at the next set of traffic lights on the carraigeway he was looking at the richo arena as if to admire it instead of looking out the opposite window like his missus was admiring the 20 year old car that just done his new porsche!

Not really 'raced' any quick cars in the zed, although upset alot of people in my old GTR.

However me and a few mates went for a 'random drive' which involved one of the best roads out this way, it twists and turns all over the place, and my old black Z held second place very well amongst a group of quick jap cars, infact the only car in front of me was a 504bhp Evo 8 and he couldn't shake me at all. Was the best driving I've done and I was buzzing at the end lol.

CL 63 AMG i think thats the model 4 door saloon with sloopy back.

Cut me up on the ring road few months back [did sound awsome] and chased him [red mist got the better of me] 1st and last time i hit the rev limiter:blushing: i could not put throttle right down as i would have rammed him doing a fair speed wont mention on here then he pulled to the left and i got on with it.

Was shaking for about an hour after:lol:

revised model of merc

Nice one Dave.

We made a Carrera GT4 look like a fiesta on the way back from getting it mapped at JD's in your car. Also had a comment from a subaru owned which was something like "What the fook are you running under there". LOL, very good day but also the last day I saw the old girl in the flesh.

I'm unable to think of a particular example, however I do thoroughly enjoy sticking my foot down on the motorway when someone in their silver Audi/VW/BMW/Merc is trying to chew my rear bumper. I love it when they get smaller and smaller in the rear view mirror, then after I have slowed down again, it takes them about 20 minutes for them to catch up!

What I have noticed though are "kids" in Fiesta's/Clio's/Corsa's that seem to make it their purpose on this planet to try and get me to race them. There is a certain satisfaction that when they race off as the lights change, I cruise along at about 20mph and pull up along side them at the next set of lights. I think I get my message across...as if I am going to stoop to your level sonny!

Happy motoring all!

Never made anything expensive look silly.

Did have a go with an SL55 AMG once and it tore me apart lol was like I was in a micra how it blew past me!

Only ever raced 2 cars. one was a zed from the lights wich i won lol!!!!

The ofther was a bently continetal GT and that just fookin blew me away and i was drivin by a little old bald guy on the way to get his paper

Also raced a few sheep but i can never seem o get round the fookers :lol:

I guess the sheep in Wales have to be fast to get away from the locals.....:clown::lol:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

:lol: you guess right but we have ways around that. we pick the ones with the little legs :lol:

E46 M3 - Toast

X5 4.4i - Toasted

997 Carrera - Spit roasted

350Z - Chewed

Focus TDCi - Spat out (what a dick he was too - I mean, as if...)

944 Turbo - anihalated

Plus many more besides. Cant wait for an Evo, Supra, Scooby show down - but the only time I see those kinda motors i'm in me van! :cursing:

Estimated 350 or so (at fly), Manwell box

Over the last couple of weeks a Z4 Sport, 911 Carrera 3.8, Jaguar XK 4.2 and an old but feisty Camaro 3.8 all easy drags from traffic lights on the local dual carriage way. But I admit to being beaten by a 04 Reg Ford Streetka 1.6i as my car stalled yet again!!!

I was so annoyed I ripped a branch from a nearby tree and gave the car a good thrashing, and a harsh talking too, had no problems since. Honest, I really do not hammer the car just enjoy the occasional burst of speed.
