Whilst in the states i saw a few Zeds with rear Lids that looked like MR2 s are they after market if so they were very well designed

Whats peoples opinions on them?

i guess there only for 2 seaters as there would be no room in the back for peoples heads :wheelchair:

tailgate tub thingies?? look a bit shit imo.

Yup, agree - is good if you want to ruin your car with one body panel!

Not to my liking

There everywhere in the states most of them lol with plasma screens WHY????

I also seen the rear lights that are like LCD Panels and clear when off you can write what you want in them and colour was cool at the show,

I kinda like the Tub thingies each to there own, at least when i got the gran kids here we have a decent picnic table??

lol

Suprised you saw them in the states. They are a Strosek (german) design, and subsequently copies by Paul Bailey and Zcentre (both UK).

Not something any of the big U.S Z traders supply and Z owners on U.S forums are a lot less accepting of Bodykits on Z's than Europe and Australia.

I've been to many Z meets (from regional to national meets) in the US as well as driving round 17 states and have never seen a tailgate tub on a Z32 or any other aftermarket trunk lids for that matter. Plus I'm a moderator on the US forum and no one on there has one either!

I suppose it's a way of keeping the sun off your rear seat passengers, but not to my taste either :nono:

and the heads LOL

IIRC they end up like ponds when it rains ! I remember seeing one on a Z at a workshop in Horsham, Sussex and it didn't look good - as well as being full of water !!!

I think that on a highly modded car like the one above with a wide body etc they look pretty cool, but as stated above they tend to collect water and ruin the clasic lines of a standard zed. IMO

Incorrect, it's identical!

I quite like the tub thingy. If put on a 4 seater there is still room for the passengers in the back but it ain't comfy lol.

They look best when combinesd with the aftermarket rear light panel and the small blended tailgate spoiler as shown on the plack one above.

Is that truck really a Vauxhall?? Looks like a Holden to me?
