Has anybody seen any really unusual (unchessey)body mods to a zed?.

I not really talking about any aftermarket parts. More hand crafted sheet metal and imagination than stick on vents and spoilers.

Shouldnt be to long now before the next z32 all my jobs around the home are almost done, just need to change the family car then there should be another z32 on the drive!

I do need some inspiration though as im tired of looking at the z centre pages for body kits and the same old aftermarket stuff.Apart from the original strosek kit there is nothing that really appeals to me.

having real trouble finding parts for my z31 so i guess this may take longer than expected, meanwhile i will need something i can use.

Gay nose panel aside, that looks really nice.

sorry to hi jack this thread but is there any other spoilers that will fit the zed from another car eg laguna etc something that looks close to the 99spec but can be bought on ebay lots cheaper? i got an idea i want to try out but dont want to ruin an expensive 99spec trying it out?

There is a website somewhere that does loads of universal spoilers that fit most cars. Just gotta check the dimentions to see what they would look like.

I always fancied a Lambo Countach style spoiler on a Z.

Mee too!!! Though i do agree with funky on the nose panel. would do something with the indicators too. Less is more imo. Time to start looking for a tatty but mech sound zed to butcher!

i like the overall picture of that however id change...

  • the oem indicators as they dont really compliment the style
  • the nose panel to a smoothed jobbie
  • widen the intercooler inlet ducts a little
  • get rid of the doorstep lip on the rear bumper and have a more subtle style diffuser arrangement (like the twinz)
  • black roof
  • no gay badge on the wings
