Well after keeping it off the road for a couple of months, i decided as the weather is looking alot better i'd tax my zed and get it back on the road. So yesterday i taxed it and today i got two new front tyres on it and also i changed the rear lights for the 99 spec replica's i made about a year ago lol. I can safely say they look a hell of a lot better than the old ones!!!

Some piccies :) Not great but just quickies to show it off!

The red middle bit does light up btw, but its a bit too pink for my liking so i'll be looking into making it more red lol.

more so............. how did you make them?

:)

A lot of patience and time lol.

You can buy all the stuff off ebay and most of it comes with instructions on how to do. If you don't have patience tho, don't bother lol. This is my second lot and i still managed to make a couple of cock ups, which now annoy me constantly

if i PM oyu could you tell me the parts i need? :P

You need clear diffusers, black pinstripes, and some chrome effect paint for the two outer lights.

If you want to do the centre panel aswell, you need, chrome effect paint, black spray paint and an indiglo strip with transister.

Its fairly straight forward mate, and if you search there is alot of info on the subject. Sussex stu even did a bit of a write up i believe ;)

Thanks very much fella's :)

Been having a good time cruising in it the last few days  And i gotta say i still aint used to all the looks you get in it

Hey Isaac, liking what you have done on the rear centre panel, I have 99spec lights on mine, and already have an indiglo panel, so obviously my panel is pre-99 with no silver/chrome innards.. So basically, all I would need to do is then strip it and paint the inside of light housing silver with some paint and it will match - near enough the lightness/whiteness of the 99s?

To put it simply mate yes, however mine was chrome effect paint out of a tin which is in no way chrome lol. If you want it to truely match your two other lights you would need to get it properly chromed.

But essentially yes take it to peices chrome it and it will match your 99ers :)
