My girlfriend has decided she wants another pug puppy. She already owns a Pug dog called... cough, erm pug lol I never thought i would have become fond of pug but he has grown on me and he is a legend. Heres some pics of the new addition to the family.

We went to choose her over the weekend or shall i say she chose us :D she came straight over to me licked me and gave me a little scratch on my nose hehe. We fell in love with her straight away :)

she is 4 weeks old at present and we will be picking her up in 4 weeks time as this is when she will be ready to leave her parents :D

Pugs are cool! About the only miniature I like. They are like big dogs in small bodies! They even have a proper bark unlike uselss shite like Yorkshire Terriers or yappy Jack russels.

2 of my friends in California have them and I always have to take them out for walkies! They get a lot of attention!

jimmy all the best with your new pup...you chose in the best way possible...the pup came to you its always the best indicator of a dog that wants to please/bond/share interest with you

Si you are being harsh again...my wife has a yorkie / jackie cross i was unsure at first but it turns out he's not a yappy tw@tty dog at all :D

LOL. Most of them are. He's pretty cute actually! Jack Russells are notoriously yappy though! Friendly dogs, just yappy!

Yeah they are really cool dogs, the amount of attention is unreal lol they are like mini celebs. Sooo much character, great temperamant, amazing with children, cheap to own and very house friendly. Your right si they are like a big dog stuck in a small body. Like Honey i shrunk the bull dog :D They are like constant comedy act lol make you laugh all day burping, sneezing, falling over, farting and pulling funny faces :D They also do something called a head tilt where their heads tilt to one side then the other when they recognise a word or something you are trying to say to them.

Thanks Uno i cant wait to get her now.

I know all about head tilt, it rocks! The ex and I were going to get a couple of Pugs.

no worries Jim...thats why (as a general rule) you should never buy the runt/last dog in a litter as you cant see how it responds in comparison to the others...always view a dog in a litter situation with mum...also if you're thinking of getting another later on as companion etc dont get another bitch they'll often fight...2 bitches in a home is big trouble IMHO

unfortunately i had to put down lola on Monday :( she was having multiple seizures each day, she eventually deteriorated, she couldn't walk properly or even see. we tried everything and have a massive vet bill to pay. :(

Rip Lola :(

Saw it on the other thread Jimmy, really sad and sorry to hear it :( :(

It's always sad when a pet dies, after all they are part of the family. I'm sure you'll have fun with the new pup :)
