i can never understand why they go to that much effort (a lot has gone into it) and they put cheap looking aftermarket alloys on

$50,000 is only about £35k. You could probably buy a Ferrari 355 for that, but Lamborghinis hold their money pretty well. Countachs especially for some reason. Last time I looked, Diablos were ranging between £60k - £90k! In the US, I'd imagine they retain their value even more.

front looks a little odd. but the side and rear look bob on

I think the Diablo (pop up lights) is my fav car of all time

got to admire the work & money put into it but i still prefer the look of an NSX :tt2:

I've never understood why people do this? Why not just buy the car your after rather than destroy an already good car?

It's a long time since I looked TBH - I guess the Diablo has gone up in price in the last few years......

......I remember seeing a nice one in a classic car garage not to far from me for around £40k; at least 5 years ago....

Lovely car it was. Shiney "penis purple" with a "*666 LAM" numberplate:wub:

As much as I like the Gallardo etc, I've a soft spot for the Diablo!!

Richard:yes:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

The Honda NSX's styling is timeless and is Japans ferrari, why ruin a stunning car to make it look like a lambo? It looks better as an NSX!

love the rear lights

Straight off a the back of a Plaxton Beaver. Lamborghini should have tried harder in a few aspects.

Good point Rob - I feel the same way about the 300zx.........:blushing:

What he said... unless it's a 100% replica, then dont bother. What a waste of

an NSX.

Have seen some pics of the japs doing something similar to an NSX, turning it

into a ferrari something or other, the work involved was immense, but what

for? It's not what it's supposed to be!

Nearly as bad as the 355 kit for an MR2... :cursing:

Hmm some replicas you can get away with, cobras and GT40's for example as they have really been done to the highest level. But Lambo's and Ferrari's in my opinion need to be the real deal, it's not hard to spot a fake and then it becomes a bit gay. Frankly a nice looking NSX would be better than a poor lookalike Lambo anyday.

LOL! A guy I knew bought a ferrari replica - actually quite a nice kit looking like the real thing. Then he started it up - it have a ford CVH engine in which really didnt cut it!!!:lol:

not a bad effort at all really, although what on earth is going on with the rear wheel arches????? got a raised eyebrow look?? lol

yeah not bad but really its better to do a replica from scratch if ya gonna do one, there will always be traces of the original car underneath.

Personally I have gone the full spaceframe route on a countach rep and a prova body and now using a BMW V12 and porche trans for the performance and sound.

And as mentioned earlier.. people dont always buy the car they want because although ya may be able to break the bank and buy it a real lambo can cost in excess of 10 grand a year in servicing alone. A countach clutch is £3,200 FFS .
