You'll need an Air Compressor. No need to run more than about 5psi through it to hear leaks.

Only taken a brief look, so not read it yet, but that looks like a very informative page.

quite an informative page, but it would be nice to see exactly how the gauge is used where the copressor is attached etc, its summin id really like to spend and afternoon going thorugh to check its all good, im sure summin is leaking.

It fits in place of the stock MAF. There is a Valve on it to attach to air compressor. The gauge itself is there so you can keep an eye on the amount of pressure your applying.

You apply 4-5 psi and listen for leaks around the engine bay.

Hi, What is the diameter of the block that replaced the MAF? I need to make one in work.....

Cheers

Captain bodgearama may say you can sometimes find a lid from a coffee jar that will fit!

i had about 5 boost leaks, zedworld fixed 4 of them...but the last one is under the plenum. anybody reckon i should have a go myself at removing the plenum? not sure if i back myself though haha! not the most technical/mechanical person around...

reaaaaally dont want to screw it up even more, and dont really feel like paying £300 for zedworld to fix it.

who is captain bodgearama????

should the system remain pressurised till you remove the tester?

|Sometimes it does sometimes is doesn't it all depends how the valves come to rest in the engine.
