9.5j + 20 if you want to leave the arches alone but if you want to play with the arches and have an aewsome and very aggressive stance go for the 10.5j +18

umm, no, these are well and good if you like stretched tires. But to get decent rubber on the tires these offsets are far too agressive.

You want a 285 tire given the power you're going for. You can run 9.5" with up to +35 (still pushing it a bit, pretty sure Topless had to have a small arch roll to stop the odd rub with that setup) or a 10" with +40.

I dont want any rubbing so what would you say the ideal size(s) are..

Choice of 8.5 front and 9.5 rear or 9 front and 10 rear, 10 imo being the max.

Ideal size if offset is good is around 8.5 fronts and 9.5/10 ish rears with sensible tyres.Your trouble is the insane power lump your gonn run.Im running 285 Bridgestone rears with rolled arches and can still break traction in anger, your engine will be far more powerful than my 470fwhp so choose wisely.

I have 9.5" rears with off set of 32 or 35 cannot remember with 285 r19 and mine catches the arch from time to time :turned:

well if you want the same bog standard wheel sizes and offsets as everyone else then follow the above, if you want to have something that looks insane and stands out go for a mad offset but its alot of work to get right but is worth it. if you need the rubber on the road for traction then youl need to sacrifice some looks. its up to you.

I dont find myself really needing much traction on the road ive only got 255 on the rear it does spin up alot but i also have a set of r888 track wheels/tyres for when i need the grip and they are also only 255 on the rears but 245 on the front, once warm they are really sticky and take alot to spin up so id rather have the looks on the road but thats my choice, soon il be fitting a 255 on the front of my road setup :D

heres how my rears look with a 18 inch 9.5j et20 and 255/35 tyre

and the fronts with the same wheels but 245/40 tyre

Surly you have taken off the plastic liners to get the fronts to fit. mine rubb as it is with 245s on ??

Wheels look great!

the offsets are terrible so they will sit too far in the arches. dont like the style and at that price they are not worth it imo

Nothing wrong with those offsets at all. The rears may need some light rolling, but other than that, they certainly WON'T sit too far inside the arches.

I was thinking, if money is not a limiting factor, get some genuine BBS LM's

each ...

Foooooooookin hell. there are some on there 18" for £1200 each. they having a laugh!!!:pinch:

Personally i dont really like them, its the colour I think!

IMO of course... depends on the look you are going for overall. with the more modified look of madmax's car i would say an aggressive stance would suit it rather than a slightly modified standard look/ stance such as yours.

Extensive arch modifications and wild offsets would look great, but thats way of what you said about "terrible offsets" and sitting to far inside arch, which was wrong.

The wheels mentioned would have a fairly aggressive stance compared to the vast majority of wheel fitments on Z's. They are certainly not terrible offsets that sit too far inside, The rears would actually stick out a little too far (without arch rolling, stretched tyres or silly camber). You have to take into account Width when you work out offset.

fair enough, i should have said they sit too far inside to look right IMO. of course if you run wide tyres you are going to have problems but nothing wrong with a stretched tyre.

I cant make my mind up on them, I think I love them but not sure. I doubt he would send them to the UK though

A +32 on a 10" wheel at the back with a +32 on a 9" wheel at the front is gonna be a very agressive stance! I think you're getting something muddled up!

Mine is also FAR from slightly modified standard look! LOL. When did you last see a stock-ish car with wheels flush fitting and the car lowered? LOL
