I have nothing against Skylines, I think they are fantastic machines and technically more advanced than the Z32.....BUT, they really don't look as nice compared to the Z32.

 

I came across this and it reminded me why I chose the Z32 out of any of the other Japanese GT cars.

Yep I totaly agree, Never been a lover of skylines! Z32 all day long! new GTR is the Daddy though, I WILL be getting one when the price is right.

super cool sports car v saloon but still a great car:D

Last year I had a 300zx TT and an R32 GTR (they overlapped a bit too so I had both LOL) and I must admit, the GTR was faster, but the Z was nicer to drive - better driving position etc. and looks better than the whiner. Took these two pics at the same place - the local airfield which seems to appear in most of my pics :D

 

 

The Z just looks so sleek low and wide . A skyline is just a pumped up impreza imo

 

I would even have a nice 200sx over a skyline

The 300 has a sleek, fast looking edge, that the skyline does not have. It has a saloon look, while the 300 has the classic fastback look, and dont forget, the 300 was designed by a "super-computer for near perfect aerodynamics" ( the term used back in the late 80's ), of which, i believe, the skyline was not. Sporst car or saloon, mmmmm........ you all know my choice.....

the Z looks tiny in that pic compared to the R33?

I have both and they are great cars in there own right but the love is with the Z32

i think the best looking skyline is the r34, i love the aggressive look of the front end, but then i love the low and wide look of the z32, i wouldn't care what one i own out of the two. but i have to say the z32 just nudges it for me, not because i own one, just because all round its the style i prefer.

gotta say out of the two the z32 does it for me, not to keen on the skyline

i admit the zed does look the best but you cant compare the two, its like saying which do you like best this ferrari or fiesta its a family car that goes like stink. i will have a 99spec next to my R33 one day but i would not get rid of my GTR for a zed it puts a smile on my face:D that my zed didn't, it was great to drive but the GTR (mine anyway) is a beast

my 300 is a SWB so i need a second car.i have a new job starting in the new year and will be working away from home so i wont have mutch chance to drive.BUT when i do i want a car with 4 seats and a R32 GTR fits the bill...

by the way this is my 3rd 300zx............turn coat i think NOT

this is my old 32 and it was a great car......but if i have had 3 300zx i must love them.

Totaly agree, specialy since I saw one of them off a couple of weeks ago ! A white one with a carbon fibre bonnet !

Circumstances change mate. I of all people understand that. You can still be a fan of something without owning it......5 years ago I was single and needed nothing more than a bike. I now have 2 kids and need a big back seat :)
