Hi everyone. I want to change my pas pot for a nice shiny one.

 

What is the best way to do it without getting its contents all over the place

Hose clamps and a pipet!

Oil sucker. I use one to get the oil out of the sump in my boat. I used it to do mine, just suck out the oil from the pot, remove, replace and refill. simples eh!

What kind of power steering fluid do I need to get? Cos I lost all of mine. Also the inside of the new one looks a bit rusty. Will that be okay?

the little filter in the mouth might be a clue as to answer your question about the rust Lee:D..must be free from all debri,put a few nuts and bolts in it and give it a shake for 5 mins as this will free all the rust away mate:)..i use normal atf for the fluid but make sure with someone else as other peeps have there own answers

So what will happen if it gets rust in the system? How will I get it our? Is there a way of draining the system? Thanks
