How come, if it was never intended to sell on this forum, you state that you are looking for 99 spec lights etc, but your 'Other Site' advert states that it's still for sale as a 'Fresh Import' with no UK owners?!!!!!! That implies that you imported it yourself to sell on and it's not been registered in the UK.

 

So have you decided to keep it? Are you trying to mislead us? Or are you trying to mislead potential buyers on the 'Other' site?

i dont like the bonnet myself... too fussy. would deffo look better with 99 spec rears and i think a 99 front would be nice. the recaros are a nice shape and look huggy/comfy but why they put them funny patterns on is beyond me! (all imo of course) other than the recaros, what other features does the version r have that my series 2 doesnt have... also, what features does my series 2 have that the version r doesnt have?

Afternoon,,,all,,many thanks for your comments,,this is not a 'for sale' thread for certain,purely to allow you zed owners to see another stunning zed,,if you have seen it for sale elsewhere i have no comment on that as 'no selling' on here for non paid members.

Yes i imported her myself from a very good friend in japland and she is my baby fully uk registered all docs are with me,,the seats just give it a different look..most think i have had them put in myself,,slightly more hugging,,as for any differences,,the obvious being the seats,dash instruments,red stitch on the steering wheel etc,,later models i think came with the red z badge on the front and white/cream dials...possibly the version r will have a bettr lsd???

Bumper is after-market so i think ill keep it like that,sumat different,,i am desperatly looking for the later spec rear lights but dont want to pay an arm and a leg for them,,so if any of you fellow z brethrins have any for sale please let me know.

i will say i personally prefer the short wheel base,think it looks better...

tyres are legal,,good tread on them,wouldn't have passed mot otherwise!!!

BONJOUR AGAIN CHAPS,,TELL YOU WHAT I'M REALLY AFTER???SEEN A PEARL WHITE 300ZX IN MOSS SIDE MANCHESTER A FEW YEARS AGO WITH IT,ILLUMINATED REAR LIGHT GARNISH,LOOKED AWESOME THE 300ZX WAS LIT UP LIKE A NEON GREEN,,CAN A NORMAL ONE BE MODIFIED?HEARD THEY ARE VERY RARE? HEERE A FEW PIC OF MY OLD ZED SWB AUTO MUCH PREFER MANUALS SEEM ALOT BETTER TO DRIVE

 

 

lovley car you have there mate, with regard to the 99 Spec rears, they hardly ever come up for sale 2nd hand (maybe once or twice a year) and when they do usually sell within a few hours, best bet would be to buy from the states from z1 as the exchange rate works in our favour but still works out about 240 delivered without the middle section.

As regards 300zx lighting up, you can buy a kit from e bay etc, i'll be going for one in red a little further down the line
