ok i have decided i want the 2 vents on the side of the bonnet similiar to jons does carmad do em?

dan.:cool3:

I dont do them. But i know there off a Jaguar xkr

the subtle jag style vents look ok. there not overpowering or too intrusive. although it seems a shame to ruin the subtle lines on a zed bonnet with vents in it. nota fan of the huge budges and holes. too ricer, to civic. but each to there own hey. car.mad didnt you have running issues from a missing rubber at the back of the engine bay? couldnt this sorta venting cause the same issues with water getting in??

Same vent, just diff picture angle.

if Car.mad used same design as Zcentre (http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_22_34&products_id=67) then the top part (the bit that sits at the top edge of the bonnet), is raised to create a 2nd vent. So if you turned it around you would end up with a raised bit at the front and that would'nt really work.

But there is an Alternative version that allows you to mount it either way :

http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_22_34&products_id=68

Looks better and is more subtle mounted the regular way though IMO ..plus you want hot air to be drawn out, rather than trying to force cold air in.

Prob best to speak to car.mad about it.

See someone's got a shiney new website

Hopefully, they're ditching half of the fibreglass junk and horrible accessories they have on there for the Z32!

If I was gonna put some vents in my bonnet, I'd be more interested in whats underneath and putting them where they would work most effectively.. and also thinkin where the water would run into...

Look a bit like a Cossie spin-off whatever you do. 400r vent, been done. Veilside fibreglass toss, been done.. So, i'm with Si - try something unique. Be the pioneer, not the horse he rode in on!
