No, not reliability issues......

......but real pain!

I bought PhilP's blue ZX last Saturday, as one or 2 people know. Anyway last Sunday I was, amoung other things, installing a CD changer system in the boot. Whilst crouching in the back, removing the rear seat cushion, I heard a small crack. Not sure if it was me or the car; next thing I know I feel a sharp pain in my chest that left me winded for a few minutes.....

......Long story short, I have been in pain all week; so after visiting the doctor (actually, Julia dragged me there. As usual.) I was told there's a 50% chance I've cracked a rib:slap:

I don't know if I have - it could be just a muscle strain - but it f***ing well hurts. A lot - especially whilst breathing!

How could I have been so clumsy - it must be age:o

Richard:smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Really sorry to hear you've hurt yourself bud........ you clumsy bugger ;)

Hope you're on the mend soon, and that it's not too serious!! :duffer:

The doctor told me they can take ages to heal too - she also advised taking 4-6 painkillers 4 times a day if it gets too sore! I'm not doing that - I never take medication unless absolutely life threateningly necessary.....

Richard:)

Zed 1 - Richard 0 :p

What the feck do they do to repair that or keep it in a position for it to repair??

ouch dude not good.. ya never said anything yesterday....

hope it all heals i crack 3 ribs playing football at 14years old.. does hurt

i did that trying to get myself under a zed dashboard. All my weight on the corner of the sill, instant pain+ then couldnt get out.oops.

Times all that helps....apart from copious amounts of alcohol.

I cracked some ribs falling off my mountainbike, fookin' hurts!!

If you've bruised them, it'll be about 2 weeks, cracked ones take

around 6-8 weeks to heal.

Had almost healed when i entered a xc race and did the same thing again.

Same side too! Still finished though.

Used to hurt most first thing in the morning, for an hour or so, then it'd

get better throughout the day.

Get well soon richard!
