well as i expected, this project dont seem to be going nowhere and it just seems all done by a couple of dreamers to me.(just reminds of of companies showing photoshopped bodykits that dont exist yet)

 

I hope they can just get there ass in gear and sell at least 'one' of their designs/products

We want to apologize for not keeping the updates coming, but it's really hard to do it when there are not relevant news to post. We are all the way down here in Peru, so making this project to work is not an easy task, but we have set our target and we are going for it no matter what.

 

We have been in conversations with the guys at Z1 Motorsports and they might be our exclusive dealer in the US, but we are still working some stuff with them to finally get these bumpers shipped at their facilities, which is the main problem right now, due to the high costs involved.

 

These bumpers are 100% hitting the US market...Hopefully soon!

 

Personally I think they must be crazy to not have these in production yet, there is so much demand for them.

well at least its a postive that it could still happen, although until there is one on the Z1 website and i can log on and pay for i still dont believe ill ever get one.

Z1 is working with the TwinZ Peru (TwinZ Design) on making their new rear bumpers / diffusers available to customers here in North America. At this stage we are trying to determine the demand for these products. This is quite a large investment of both time and money, in order to make this happen we need to know just how much serious interest there is in these products, the pricing and ordering details are below.

 

TwinZ Type I rear bumper $498.00 USD + Shipping

TwinZ Type II rear bumper W/ diffuser $724.00 + Shipping

(Shipping estimated at $140-$180 within the continental U.S.)

 

These will only be available through pre-order. If there is enough interest shown, we will take $100 deposits until April 15th. If we have enough orders at that point, we will proceed and import a large shipment of bumpers. At that point it will be 8-12 weeks before we receive the bumpers at Z1. Final payment will be due before we ship the bumpers out to customers who have pre-ordered and paid the $100 deposit.

 

We want to be clear that the time frame between making the initial deposit and customers receiving the bumpers will be 3-5 months. The $100 deposits will not be refundable during this time frame. These are special order items and there will be no refunds because of the wait. In the event that we do not receive enough pre-orders to proceed with the import, we will of course refund all the deposits the third week in April.

All depends on Numbers. Z1 want a min order of 25 before they will import from Peru

There are no UK retailers and its very unlikely there ever will be. I have enquired (on that thread) about individual shipping costs from Z1 to the UK...and for 5 of them.

 

It maybe worthwhile us setting up a little group buy with Z1 ourselves.

 

I dealt with the TwinZ guys a couple of years back in regards to becoming a UK trader of their front bumper and it was way too expensive to consider anything less than buying 20 direct from them.

Count me in for sure if a group buy ever goes ahead

If the twinz guys end up manufacturing a load for Z1 ensuring they have all the US rights to them, i see no reason why they wouldn't knock up an extra 5 for the UK market, shipping direct has gotta be better than shipping Peru to Z1, Z1 to UK and of course the profit margin.

So maybe worth seeing if 5 of you are seriously interested.

This is the nicest rear bumper and diffuser that I have seen for the Zed, by far.

 

I'd be seriously interested in one of them, but I'd have to qualify that and say subject to a reasonable price.
