Oh yes it does!

Thought I'd make the most of these warm evenings and went for a nice drive through the countryside. T-tops off, some cool tunes playing.

Summer driving is great. Summer evening driving is better. Nice and warm, empty roads. I love looking up and seeing the stars and dark skies.

/that's all.

I know what you mean! The only problem being bugs. I have just wash a billion off my car 2nite because of my Night drives!

I'm glad you're really in to your Zed again:)

I cant wait to get mine on the road and attack some country roads in the evenings, its just not the same with a shopping wagon!

Awesome eh.

I tell you whats great, lets someone (preferably someone you know) drive your zed away from ya at night. I just think with its fat arse and long tail lights, it looks stunning!

The tail lights are what make the back end of the car for me and struggle to understand what posses someone to fit ugly-ass round rear lights. A mate of mine was following me a few weeks ago at dusk. I had my lights on and he said the car looked fantastic as the brakelights came on.

Yeah, the bugs are an issue, but they wash quite easily off my paintwork. It's the only downside to summer driving. Hell, it's the only time of the year my Z really gets used and it gets used quite a bit.

You are lucky Si where you are now living, on the edge of the Quantocks. The roads and the scenery around there is stunning. I was down there last night on the A39 all the way down to Porlock for a meal in a pub. What superb scenery and great sweeping roads, sadly marred by shed loads of double white lines. Not in the Zed tho', fan switch has become defunct, how timely is that, in a heatwave !!

Totally agree with you Si, me and the missus went on a find a pub in the middle of nowhere for dinner last night

No sat nav or maps. After the food, t tops off, and off for a drive.

All country roads, and not many other cars. Got in about 11.

Nice and chilled, but £25 later less in fuel.............

Well worth it...............

Or get someone following you to take a photo.

I went for a blast across Dartmoor last night about 12.30, nothing on the road and really warm to... love it ...

I agree with all above...absolutely love night driving and looking up at the stars without the targas in the way! Getting a manual conversion next week off at Zedworld so can hardly wait to take that on the windy roads!! Feels like ages since I've driven a 'proper' (manual) car!!

took mine out last night on my own private test track...km speedo was bending the stop pin and the tacho was showing 6000 rpm with the boost gauge steady at 15psi..the car was still pulling strong at 6000, mines an auto so what sorta speed would this work out at pulling 6000-65000 rpm. BTW the test track was completly empty with a 5 mile straight stretch and no juntions:)..before the safety police jump on me:rolleyes:
