Suddently my zx started to smoke huge from the tail pipes. One day later started to smoke from under the bonet as well, just when i start the engine, for a bit. Where should i go to repair it? The car is highly modified. Thanks

At first i want everyone to know that the garage from where i`ve bought the car WRC SALES are some big liars. They have told me that the car has certaind mod`s like hks pistons and conrods but actualy it did not. My mechanic told me. At first they sell shit cars pretending to be highly modified.......Coz i need to replace the cilinder head(they are broken), turbo`s are almost gone and some other things

Any recomandations?

Hi mate, that's Sh1t, I feel for you... My first thought would be to seek legal advice as they misrepresented the car that they sold you, I guess citizens advice would be a good start... The next thing to do would be to give Jeff at Zedworld a call and get the car to him or get him to supply a known good engine.

 

I personally would be heading down to the police station as it really sounds like you've been defrauded...

Well at least we know not to use WRC w&nk sales. Good of you to post, dont give up on legal advice. This may happen to other people.

Gutted for the repairs but what a stunning car! If the engine is being taken out, then you may as well get the engine bay painted.

 

PLEASE PLEASE don't ruin it with lambo doors. You have a very sexy car there, no need to chav it up and don't go getting round rear lights or any of that other awful tat that is available for the Z32. :)

I am going mad as since I`ve bought the car and drove it for couple of miles broke down and it`s at the garage since!!!! First the mechanic charged me 1000 pounds for removing the engine and telling me what is wrong (it took 6 f....g weeks). now i have to buy a good engine... e-bay i guess.... Cheers D2? Where is it? Thank you

type d2 vehicle services into google and the one that has the postcode of me2 2ae is them. call them up and they will sort out when it can be done and for how much. d2 will be very cheap in comparrison to most places and offer a top quality job.

I would also recommend D2 - Darren is certainly knowledgable about the zeds and very helpful.

if it was me i'd get a list on all that is broken, missing or not as described...add up the prices (members on here will help etc) then send a letter recorded delivery to the dealer/seller saying 28 days to make good on the money/fix or court action to follow

dont spend ££££'s getting people to pull the engine (who ever did that was taking the p1ss) get the issues listed and diagnosed first...claim the money second...if you go-ahead and do work/fix her without allowing the dealer to have first shout you might undermine any claim against them.

Speak to Jimmer if you're wanting a rebuilt. Will be built to the highest standard. Jimmer also has zero negative feedback. All the guys on here who have ever had anything done on their cars have been nothing but completely satisfied. He takes complete pride in his work. I wouldn't use anyone else. :)

Thank you guys. You`ve been helpfull. I will get in touch with d2 And i will have one engine built by Jim at some point. I am going to buy a second hand engine and have the hks gaskets on it and i will attach all my other parts to it (turbo`s, pulleys, waste gateetc...) I hope to get at least 400 bhp. What do you think?
