i wanted to wait and put them on when I had the rest of my bodywork put on, but a) i couldn't resist it any more, and b) my old tyres were fooked on the insides. and when i say fooked, i mean bald and starting to puke their liner out!!

theyre 19" 275 on the back and 245 on the front. i love the plain 5-spoke style, and theyre going to be SO much easier to clean than the old Vortexes.

i definately need to drop my rear about 20mm, and i'd like to space them out just a little. the front is a foookin tight fit. when on full lock either way, there's about one millimetre between the tyre and the inside arch! i will probably space the fronts out very slightly to try and compensate.

on the drive back i didn't have any problem when turning, even carefully on full lock, but when going over a speed bump there's a bit of scrubbage from the top :( hopefully dropping the rear suspension will help the front out a little.

many thanks go out to the boys at Formula One in Leicester for putting them on and being a decent bunch of lads.

needless to say my 18s will be up for sale in the near future. i need to get them cleaned and get some pics up.

no theyre still sat in the cupboard! :headvswal im hoping to get the bodywork done next month, but it looks like i might need new suspension all round - half to drop the rear, and half to hopefully sort out the issue that caused my inner tyre wear - whether it was tracking or suspension i dont know.

Well they aint gold but they'll do i guess

:) youre right bud, I was triple-booked yesterday, I had two mate's birthdays! I need to space the fronts out a little more than i thought, as at full lock the tyres are touching the suspension :(

Would love to help out tonight bud but mines all wrapped up, would take me 20 mins to get into the car to get teh key for the wheels...

Might be doing a few bits tommorrow though, if i do i'll let you know....

no need to go to the effort thanks mate, i wondered if either of you knew off the top of your head! :)

i spoke to the guys who flogged me the wheels - incredibly helpful and professional!!! they said the bore of the wheels was 72.6mm but the included rings narrow it down to 66mm required for the Z. i've ordered a set of 20mm all round spacers off them. hopefully this will fix my suspension rubbing problem, but i'll still need to drop my rear and perhaps raise my front slightly too!
