No, this isn't a joke thread. Few things have happened lately which has made me take another look at my life (not money related). I've completely lost interest in cars including my Z. Sufice to say that I am very seriously thinking about putting it up for sale. I never thought I'd say it.

 

I dunno whether I'm making a good decision or a bad one. Yes, I do know all the 'you'll regret it mate' things. But I just really have zero interest in it anymore.

Women can really screw with your head sometimes.

 

Don't sell. At least not till your over this. Emotive knee jerk reactions can prove problematic in the long run and you don't want to regret a decision made when your head wasn't straight, so to speak.

6 years ago when I had my first Zed the average price was about 6 grand and you never saw sh1t like that. Now when I see complete monstrosities like that I feel sorry for the 300ZX and what has become of it :(

Si, if you sold that zed I think we'd all be disappointed a that one of the best kept zeds in the club would be gone to someone who wouldn't look after it anywhere near as well as you do and b that you'd not be on the forum any more.

i wouldnt sell it.. mines been sat in my garage with a blown headgasket for .. hmm 4 months now.. i got bout 2k saved.. but am undecided as to get my car looked at or get a new car and deal with the zed when economy is a bit better.. either way.. mines sitting in my garage ;) so tuck yours up for a while!

Well, what an asset to the club you members are! I've been inundated with messages to the point where my inbox keeps filling up. Feel very humble and do thank you guys. Thought I was one of those members that people loved to hate! How wrong I was. Lots of really good people on here with lots of good advice and support.

 

Just having a low spot in my life at the moment and thinking a little irrationally. I’ve battled depression for quite a number of years, but I’ve taken a really big hit lately and everything has just fallen apart around me.

 

Feelings toward the Z haven't really changed, but they might. I guess I need to pull through this period and re-assess what I'll do.

I didn't bother messaging you because whatever i've said on here is what i think matey :D

 

From one sufferer of depression to another you know deep down that until you hit rock bottom you won't pull yourself back up again, you think irrationally when you're in the deepest depths but you know that we're all here on the forum to support you mate that's what the club's here for - a number of people all driven by the love of their zed :D

 

As bad as it gets it can only get better, life's shit for me at the moment. Every last penny i worked hard to get the V8 finished off has just been taken off me in under 3 weeks but i'm not giving up so keep your chin up dude when that sunshine comes out, the weather dries up and you get that roof off for the first drive out this year you'll wonder why you even thought what you're thinking now :)

 

Plus you know we've got the honour of the zed to uphold :D

Ive never had depression mate, but i have to deal with some of the more severe cases at work. Ive always had a way of making people see the positives in situations and manage to keep reality in touch.
