Nope, never heard of it, but a big of googling and it seems they are some sort of Japanese parts company.

When Nissan stopped making them they were popping up on ebay for nearly £400. THere is a company making replica's and charging £100 though

Forgive me for asking a stupid question but, 'Valet key'... the key you leave with the people who are Valeting you car?

I haven't checked but if it's the same as other cars the valet key will let the person into the car interior to valet the car but wont open lockable storage like the glove box.

i love stuff like that, i would imagine there isnt many like that out there, look after it.

yeah i will always thought it was really cool, when i had my mr2 before the 300 it had a key that was a 'snap-on' screw driver i was the first person with it since it came over so when someone ran into it and wrote it off decided i should keep it

Valet (as in parking) keys were for the car park attendants, like you get in the states.

When it is a true valet key, it can open driver door (not boot or glove box), start vehicle (sometimes in limited mode / ie safety mode style).

Also it cannot be used to reprogram new keys, or be used to have new master keys cut.

Yep, Valet key wont unlock Glovebox. Its missing a groove along its length that the other keys have.
