I'm just after people's opinions on the rear of the blue car. It's one of the things I've remained unsure on. Initially, I was quite set on changing them to 99spec style light but Most bypassers locally seem to like the back lights on this better than the more traditional ones. So now I'm just not sure. What do people think

Hey all, Refurbing a Z (90' UK auto TT), and when doing a vacuum test I found an air leak right here under the throttle body: I can see a pipe connection under there which I believe links up to the vacuum/fuel system, as when I pressurise the air intake and this leaks, there is a faint smell of fuel. Before I start taking the throttle body off and replacing pipes/adding jubilee clips I thought I'd ask those who actually know what they are doing haha. Anyone experienced this before/know for certain what the pipe is (assuming it is that pipe?) and any advice on fixing it? Thanks!

Hello Chaps Can anyone recommend a good place to procure a Clutch Kit for a 89 NA. I noticed a wee bit of clutch shudder at Coventry and might as well change the whole thing i guess. What concerns me is that the europarts pages etc may not differentiate between TT and NA or Z31 or Z32 clutch, despite putting in the reg etc... just wanna make sure I get the right kit. Cheers! By the way, a standard OEM clutch is fine, don't need no stage 73.8 or super strength malarkey, just good old OEM will do fine methinks..... ta very much.

I am going to have to get some advice based on numbers or experience for this one. . . I have finished reshelling the body thanks to a great, wicked mean looking body kit from the zcentre in the UK, and after about 6 months graft it has finally been painted. Just doors etc to do now. As that has come together nicely I managed to pick up a used engine from the guys at Nippon Auto spares in Derby to do the whole TT conversion thing. I know there are huge writers on this so I'm not going to bore you with the details suffice to say Holsett hx35's :) Looking for something to beat a mates car running 395 PS / 390 bhp / 291 kW @ 6100 rpm with a curb weight of 17…

Hi guys. I appreciate there is the Howmanyleft website. But how accurate is it. I've checked my new TT auto LWB U.K. Spec. The site says it's the only one left in the country. How true could this be and is there a definitive way of finding this out? Cheers Edd Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Spotted a silver Z32 with a 99spec front bumper while I was strolling to the pub, very close to where I live! Somewhat shocked there's a other one so close, is it anyone from here?

well went to fit DRL and painted callipers over the weekend. so drove it to the unit, no problems, drove into the unit still good. looked at some excess wiring which was attached to nothing so cut 2 cable ties and then decided to put her up on the ramps and thats when it all went wrong. She just wouldn't go into drive!!! only reverse and neutral but wouldn't go any further into drive, so decided to remove all the old toad alarm(which didn't work) and the immobiliser set up. what a load of bad wiring, poor connections, but thats done and ready for a better system at a later date. But the problem is still there and the car still won't to go into drive, she is no…

The insides of my wheels I try to keep clean. Unfortunately whenever I get tyres changed, I'm left with unsightly residue/sticky stuff. What's the best stuff to dissolve all this? I know there are plenty of products on the market, but there's often a small foam backing on these weights which also sticks firm and a lot of the residue removers can't penetrate this. Would brake cleaner be good? The wheel insides will be cleaned and waxed after.

I have a 1991 Zed and the driver's side rear light has started to craze quite badly. Can you buy these new from Nissan still? Or does anyone know where I can get a good second hand one from? Thanks.

Ive recently discovered coolant shooting out from a very short black hose that sits between the EGR valve and the coolant heater core pipes. I'm simply wondering if anyone knows what the actual hose is called so I can get a replacement and if anyone knows the best way to remove this hose as space back there is very limited Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi guys, basically I just signed up so first I'll say hi to everyone :) I love the 300zx and have always wanted one, just thoght I'd ask some advice about buying and yes I have read the buying guide :) So I've seen this Nissan 300zx for sale and it's a 3.0 na, it's had a single turbo conversion and is mounted in the rear. Guy says it's a squires turbo system (no idea if that's good) I'm assuming it's been built for drifting as it has a welded diff, I was going to get the diff replaced for a non welded one as I won't be drifting lol. THe car has 84000 miles and was serviced 1k ago, has 351bhp with printout and apparently has a forged engine. Has a blitz computer an…

My Z is a 91 Japanese model and didn't come with anything. I have fitted a remote central locking kit and associated fob.... As you can see I also have a spare Nissan fob.... Looking at them both apart, is there any way I could modify the innards of the new fob into the old Nissan one? Could the buttons and top part of the PCB be modified so that they'd line up with the Nissan fob? Or could the transmitter and crystal be removed somehow from the new fob and be soldered to part of the Nissan PCB?

Due to change the gearbox and diff fluid in a few weeks. I've got 1.4L of Total 80W90 for the diff, which is about 100ML short. I've also got 3L of Motul 75W90 for the gearbox, which is 200ML surplus. Should I just add 100ML of that to top off the diff or would I be best buying another liter of 80W90?
