I think the dealer in Italy has had his car so long that the engine should be bomb proof. Still.....no sign if him home yet!

Guys, I know that a dickey plug can cause all sorts of problems on a Z, especially TT's. I read an article in Max Power about Trust making these Iridium tipped plugs which are supposed to be the dogs bollox! Apparently they will keep going for a good five years worth of motoring and provide excellent sparking which increased combustion levels. Does anyone know anything about these plugs? Can you, or are you able to use these in the 300 as it sounds like a god send to me? Thoughts? Nico, Henri etc. (-)

Won't be in my 300 as it's in hospital still! Will more than likely be in me Merc Cossie instead...any objections to a bit of German sausage car mixing it with all you Jappers??? Remember...the war is over now! LOL! Tim ;-)

Just wondered if any of you guys are gonna be there - they'll be about 20 of us (hopefully). Redline are also gonna be there (good or bad?) Anyway, hope to see a few of you there. Don't worry JohnnyBoy, I'm not throwing down the gauntlet yet!!! (Need cams, pistons, T28, lightened flywheel...........oh shoot, so much to do!!!) Matt

Hi guys, My oil pressure is all over the shop! I've gone through a lot of old posts, but are the guages that inacurate! The cars only used at w/e's - start up approx = 70 psi, 5 min later barley 30 psi. And if I stop in traffic 0 psi.Accelerate back up to 60 psi!!! the lumps only done 25500 miles (new engine fitted in sep 99) Is this due to oil deteriation or gauge in pissed mode. Very worrying at lights etc. Advice please. cheers harve.

I've just re-posted in the For Sale section. I'm open to offers as I'm seeing too many TVRs on the road and suffering lots as a result ! Do the decent thing and help me out of my suffering. But PLEASE no time wasters - if you're serious then great but if you're only half interested then by all means get in touch but PLEASE tell me you're only thinking about it. Spent too much time making plans around people who then don't get back to me. Cheers Dave

I bought my import 300ZX TT from Hallmarks in Thatcham about 6 weeks ago and have serious petrol consumption problems. Hallmarks have been great but just can't trace the problem. The Hallmarks tester shows that the emmissions are fine. I have tried running the car with a light foot (no turbo boost all week!!) and I still only get 12 mpg. The only engine problem I have experienced is when pulling away from stop the revs drop from 1000rpm to 500 and it nearly or actually cuts out. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not going to post this as if it catches on it will stop working. It is not bent, dodgy, dubious or any thing else. It reduced my quote from £2K for a 24 year old to £1K. Mail me, I'll mail you back then post your reactions/results. Don't forget, Mums the word!

Has anyone ever taken their manual gaearbox apart and found a bush that isn't there. Cos last year I took my gearbox apart and found a bush just behind the rear oil seal. I removed it because it was completely worn to peices and then found that it was not on any diagrams anywhere. Nissan dealer told me that a new case was necessary so I bought a second hand one. Anyone come across this before?

You know you want to stick a Momo steering wheel or similar on your Z, but not only do you have to relocate your cruise controls (early Z'S) but the real problem is there is a Hicas sensor in the hub. Bummer! Having spoken with Peter at SE he is working on an aluminium hub which will allow Momo and other italian wheels with the same bolthole pattern to fit, and retain your Hicas. I am organising a grp buy. The more we get the cheaper should be the price. It should be less than £50 each. Let me know who's interested.
