Got one on order with Johnny da main man. Are they easy to fit and will I need any extra bits to do the job? I think Johnny said they usually only come with Jap instructions but he's trying to sort me out with UK ones... Also got Blitz Boost and Water Temp gauges on order. Boost gauge sounds easy enough to fit but what about the water temp? Does it come with it's own sensor or use the existing one. If it has it's own sensor how/where does it fit? I have a JWT ECU and their website states: Boost Increased to 12.5 PSI (13.5 PSI flash boost) What is flash boost and does this mean I cannot go over 12.5 PSI on the Blitz Controller? What is the safe maximum…

Anyone got one of these, How do you rate it? Just how annoying is it with a radar detector going off too or do you not use one anymore? yes, I feel some kind of order comming on... just working out the options... Seams OTT to have a row of Morpheous, radar and jammer boxes... the funny thing is I last got done by a cop timing me, no protection against that... Unless anyone has a smokey detector like in Cannon Ball run? ------------------ 8587263

Hi, Who already has this unit. I have an old snooper SRD from many years ago. It's short range on detection, I don't want laser detection as I think it's useless and the laser jammer is the answer too that. So, my quetion is, if I only wanted to upgrade to loose all the annoying false alarms would I be wasting my money. Currently i get various bleeps in town, all service stations detected, all traff lights, especailly ones on the roads crossing motorway bridges! Cheers, Jez.

My '91 TT auto uk spec makes a weird clicking/ticking noise which rises with the revs until the engine is warmed up. I've had the air con, fan and power steering belts change three weeks ago. There were squeaking noises initially but once they were re-tensioned, the noises disappeared but this new ticking seems to have been introduced. Could it be that one of the belts still needs tightening? I don't think it's the turbos because revving the engine in neutral doesn't produce the ticking sound. Oh, the noise comes from the engine-I can't make out where precisely since it only ticks when the car is in motion. Unfortunately I can't get anyone to running fsat enough alond si…

Tonite on my way back from the Pile of Wight I had a fright (well i didnt but i like the sound of the sentence). Now dont tell the Narcs but I hit the A1(M) at Peterborough (the best goddam road for going fast in a straight line ever!) and I thought well why not, it was almost clear and I had the outside 2 lanes to myself. Floored it, whhoossh nice - straight upto 140mph, then - eek !, no power. Guessing I hit some bizarre speed limiter? Not releated to revs - my car does stop working at 7001rpm rev limiter, But I was in 5th and not revving too many rpm's. Hmm anyone know how to undo this thing, wierd I have heard about 62mph and 112 mph limiters on JAP's but no…

Hi, I was considering to buy the "racelogic traction control system" (group Buying etc..)...so I asked my insurer, ADMIRAL, about it....and after some talking and a call back from them they said:.....If you fit traction control to you car we won't be able to insure it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the F**k!!!!!!!!! This is because they say that traction control also improves PERFROMANCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then with traction control the driver could be pushed to go faster around corners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IGNORANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I plan to do some mod and take my car from standard to something …

I was coming home today at speeds of between 60-80 when I cam to a round-a-bout and I went round and tried to pull off hard at the end of it. I was not getting the acceleration I was used to. Looking at the boost I only got about 6-7 psi and was getting nowhere near the usual presure. At the next set of lights, I stopped my enging and started it again and it worked fine. Is there anything I can look out for? Could this just be a one off incodent? Should I be worried about anything? Any help will be good Stuart ( :-S )

Hey guys, Started my lovely silver bullet this morning and noticed a rather loud metallic noise coming from the engine. It was as if something was repeatedly hitting something metallic and increased in frequency as the revs piled on. It promptly disappeared after about 8 miles and seems fine now. Any thoughts what it may have been? As always, your wisdom (both good and bad) is greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, anyone interested in buying 4 stock ZX (Jap) alloys with new rubber? First £300 offer gets it (excl. p&p). Cheers Danny

Was offered £1000 part exchange for my 300 on Friday - hahahahahahahah I asked him 3 times if he was serious - Iwasnt in it at the time so not sure if he beleived I was for real (no way was I selling - just curious) he said 'its an 11 year old car - who wants that?' so there you go - the culprit was Reynolds Nissan in Southport - avoid them - phoned up a couple of times and am NOT impressed at all. I'm considering going back in the Z to ask them why they thought it was only worth a 1000 quid - so I can look them in the eye and tell em I wont be having it serviced with them! or repaired - or anything. anyone know of anywhere else I can get a stylish hood? this is the only one i could find on the net after over 3days of searching, the thing that pisses me off is veilside has a custom hood on their 300zx but they don't sell it =T i mean I like this but it looks like it was snapped on, i mean I don't think I'd want people to plaster the crevices in to try to smooth it out if there are other good hoods out there.
