Just been chatting with Warren and he said that some people are coming up the M23 on Sunday. Warren will suggest a time to meet but I wanted to suggest a car park to meet (see URL on post below) For those coming clockwise round the M25, come off at junction 8, turn left at roundabout (towards Reigate) and then take first left and follow the road round to the right - the car park is where 'WC' is shown on the URL below. Warren will suggest a time later ... Dave [This message has been edited by Hairsy (edited 31-08-2001).]

Hope you guys can help. I was out in the Z a couple of weeks ago and it just cut dead on me. Tried starting it again and it just wouldn't fire, so I got the AA to take it to the local dealer (only option unfortunately!). They tried it a couple of times and confirmed it wouldn't start, so I left it overnight for them to tackle in the morning....then the next day it worked no problem at all. Dealer thinks it might be the ignition amplifier but didn't want to fit it because of the £400 cost. Apparently no other errors come up on the Consult either. At the moment there just seems to be an intermittent fault, car runs perfectly and then you go to pull away from a…

Hi, while there is no insurance database, maybe try to keep this thread with just a set of brief detals on any quotes you've had rather than having a chat thread I asked about club insurance, my insurers would rather insure on an individual basis, and currently only do UK cars. Extra bhp is insured on a % over stock basis, kits/wheels/traction is okay. Here's my two quotes... Full NCB, 31yo, garaged, T1 alarm, med risk area, 1 fine SP50. Privilege - UK car - £1050 - 300+ excess - no mods Greenlight - UK car - £911 - 350 excess - All mods insured

I noticed some Subaru Impreza's have a dash button to spray water on the intercooler for more power and decided to fit my own version! Bought the bits from Halfords for about £7.00... 2.4m Washer Hose, T-Piece, None-Return Valve, Double Washer Jet. Cut the washer pipe just before it heads up to the bonnet and fit T-Piece. Connect new hose with valve in-line. Run hose down engine bay under headlight. Drill hole in inside edge of front skirt and fit washer jet nozzle and adjust to spay intercooler. Done in 20 mins! If you don't have a valve in the pipe the low mounted jet syphons all the water from your washer bottle :-( Now I just wash the screen to cool th…

Who was it who said to avoid Bell Direct?? I second that! Got my quote, was really good, said they'd do me 4 years NCB with a letter from my previous company. Send it all off, they charge me. Then I get a letter saying "We have reduced your NCB to 2 years. Please call us about this. An additional premium of £300 will be charged to your credit card" F*ckers.. Scum of the f*cking earth.. Not even "Please call us to arrange payment", just "We will charge this to your card". Can they even do that? F*ckers. Probably. Az

After doin' cash, cold dinners & skinned knuckles on the car since Billing. Getting DVLA to fax my licence details to Trax officials, (got the ok without a licence presant) Having parts made specialy for sunday & losing sleep with anticipation, It failed the mot today, frothing at the edges & words im lost. The tester was very fair in my poinion though. And very aware of the Z32. Two major fails were; CO2 & rear dampers. He sais it has been de-cated to get a CO level that high, (all other readouts were spot on) He could only think of this as all the bad things to look for are as good as new. And maybe ecu change or alteration ? …

what you guys think? These units are valve cap covers that attach to you cars tire valve. The internal circuitry senses when the vehicle is in motion which turns on the flasher, which flashes an intense neon blue light. It also has a photosensitive sensor so the unit ONLY comes when it is dark outside, saving you the time of turning it on and off. When you are in motion, it gives your wheels the effect that they have a neon ring around them. People will catch up to you at a stop light to see what you have, only to be amazed that they see nothing is there! As soon as the car starts moving again only will the flasher turn back on and light up your wheels.
