Well, after about 4 hours of toiling my front indicators are finally clear ... looks really good (pics up soon). Thanks Jeff TT for giving me the motivation to keep going with it. Bloody hell it is hard work removing the orange cover inside the indicator unit. Almost no space to put your fingers and tools so out came the soldering iron, cutters and icepick (I kid you not). The new indicator bulbs I got with Jeff are great - they look clear but flash orange Advice for anyone attempting to do the same, go easy on the bashing coz I nearly ruined one of the reflective covers (very thin metal that easily bends and rips). Also burned holes for the side running l…

Okay guys, I nearly met the scenery last night, cr@p Japanese tyres partly to blame, heavy right foot similar. What are the best tyres to choose. Consensus seems to be the Bridgestone S03s. What if I don't want to spend that much? How about the Dunlop Sport 8000 or the Continental Sport or the Pirelli P6000? Anyone had any experiences of these, I used to have Good Year, Eagle Venturas on my last car and they were brilliant, transformed the car in the wet. Any suggestions and prices would be appreciated. Bear in mind I'm running standard rims which are 225/50/16's all round Thanks Tim [This message has been edited by TT Tim (edited 1…

Hmm...in the manual AND on the parts CD - there's this 'secondary air system' described in there. It has two seperate air filters etc....but, I'm positive my Zed does n't have all this extra stuff!? Is this something which the 91 UK models missed out on? ??? Cheers Simon. After posting my, personal, comments on the Ecotek products on this forum, I had the following email this morning: The comments you made on the 300zx forum seem to refer to ECOFLOW and not our product. We spend a lot of time and money on protecting our brand image and are always disappointed when we are mistaken for products which, as you suggest, are rather less efficacious than ours. The Ecotek CB-26P has been quite positively reviewed for use with a number of Nissan engines: http://www.ecotekplc.com/more_cars_6.htm#primera Regards, Barclay Ecotek Technologies Plc. www.ecotekplc.com Just be careful what you say guyz you never know …

Since I get quite a lot of emails regarding the 'consult'-software we're creating, here's a little update. We're very far with it and have 2 versions at the moment..a DOS-version for lower-end laptops (486's) and a Windows version for the higher end laptops. The part that enables you to monitor and test the engine-ECU and the Aircon-ECU is as good as finished. We still need to complete the part that enables you to test/monitor the ECU's of the HICAS and the A/T. Since neither of us have a Z with an autobox, the A/T-part will be a little bit difficult to test/develop for us. I have put up a small preview (screenshots) of some of the current features of the …

Hi guyZ, After investigating a grinding noise coming from the rear under braking, I have found one of the pads to be completely worn out This would have been the first part to check anyway but...... The reason I have put this post up is because from a quick glimpse everything looked ok - the outer pads had around 8mm on them.... On removing the inner pads as well the problem became very obvious:- ..and just to show the wear properly:- As can be seen above, only one pad wore out severly. I think this was caused by the twonk who had my car before me fitting cheap crappy pads..... could have been a stone getting between the pad and disc and explod…
