I was re-united with my Z today! I wasn't prepared for the spectacle I saw; my first thoughts were- "wow, surely that isn't my car!" Pete (aka LEONARDO) has done an absolutely stunning job on my Z. I strongly urge anyone condsidering getting a kit fitted or having paintwork done, to get on to him, pronto! His website is www.modifiedatpps.co.uk Also a massive thanks for our own Mr Duffman: cheerz for the lift and for putting up with my inane grinning! Pics are to follow..... Dave ps, the stillen gtz-r front is an excellent way of keeping our country clean:- stopping for petrol on the way home I found one of Duffman's fag-butts caught in me mesh!

OK, Nico is clearly someone who knows his Zeds and, being an administrator, sitteth on the RH of G. And is fond of falling off snowy mountains on unpowered wooden runners with no brakes. But WTF is this about Herdy-Gerdy in his sig? All has been revealed when I read the Grauniad yesterday - it's a Playstation2 game. Apparently, the young folk enjoy putting silvery spinning disks into a piece of electronic trickery then wearing out their eyes and thumbs. H-G is one of these disk thingies. The Grauniad reviewed it and said: "beautifully drawn cartoon world" "extremely satisfying and will appeal to anyone craving something a bit more creative for their…

  14. Right people who are wanting these new dials, now that they have arrived 11 days after I sent them. We have the problem on putting the needle back in the right place. As you can seen there is not a thing that makes the needle only fit one way. The speedo and rev have needle rest, and we may be lucky enough to just be able to set the needle so its on the needle rest. But the fuel and temp just sink all the way. The Turbo and Oil needles dont need taking off. Just a thought Stuart

  24. Started by vijay,

I'm looking at putting in a couple of gauges, boost and either a water or oil temp. First question is which to get water or oil? and second question is how hard are they to fit? A mechanic friend said it's no problem to drill into the sump, just do it before an oil change, so oil will flow out and bring any filings out with it, he also said that there should be a rather large magnet in the sump to catch any loose filings within the engine?????????? With the water sensor, can you just use either of the coolant sensor connecters?? Has anyone fitted either of these? Cheers Vijay [This message has been edited by vijay (edited 02-03-2002).]

Silver with nice wheels and huge exhaust - sounded meaty as hell. Seriously fast and raced me about 40 miles too. Every time I pulled up at the lights in town it came along side me. Until a kid walked past and said "Cool car mate" and ruined the reflection in the shop window...
