Please don't tell me my Z is F**Ked

Help - my flasher takes 20 minutes to start working! I got a new one from Halfords (after the original died) but the new one only starts flashing after about 20-30 minutes of driving. It works fine after that, so it's not faulty. Can't be a fuse. This is too weird. Any clues?

Hello all, I picked up my z last night with no manuals whatso ever thus i have a few questions 1. What is Hicas and should the light for it come on and off? 2. How do i get the stereo out (im bored of radio two now!) 3. Do you drive an auto with overdrive on or off for normal driving?

Hi, The car has always started at 1st turn of the key, until last weekend. I hardly use it during the week, commute on my motorbike. So, Saturday morning last week, surprised when it wouldn' start. Put a battery pack on it and it started, reluctantly. So I cherged the battery and my Optimate charger showed the battery was good. So, this morning I was surprised when it was reluctant, needed a bit of throttle to tickle it into life. Does anyone have any experience of curing this symptom?. Must be simple (I may regret saying that). Still starts straight off when warm. OOPS Sorry, thought I'd put this in Technical [This message has been edited by bryane …

Got my Z back today. What can I say but f**king great. Suns out, shades are on, and it's time to cruise. SE Exhaust sounds awesome, even though I can't put my foot down yet Getting the heads turning down ESSEX way as I head towards a cheap Shell Garage to get some Optimax. BTW don't use the Maldon one they charge 78.9 where as Tiptree is only 75.9. Ahh it's good to be back Now just gotta update my rides section, sigh!! ------------------ crazyeddie.co.uk brave-orchid.co.uk

Can anybody help with information on how the Stainless Steel Brakelines fit on the front? As you can see on the following 2 pictures the lines pass through two retaining points on the way to the caliper connection. Special mid mounting points are shown. I have a Z32 BSR-Aerotek kit, which has the hoses and end connectors only. What have others done to retain the front hose to these 2 mid points? The second picture shows retainers, but these are not part of my kit (and suspect not part of the kits fitted by others?). Thanks for your help. Had my car booked in for 9am this very morning to check out my oil leak at my local Nissan dealer on Anglesey. I turn up a bit late at 9:30 and announce my presence to the Service Manager. I explain to him that I can see where the leak is coming from and if I could just show him it would save their time and mine. "OK" he says and we walk out to my car. So he asks me to show him, so I say we need it up on a lift...well fuck me!!! He then tells me that they haven't got any lifts available all morning. WTF is that all about? So anyway, we walk into the workshop and just like every cloud has a silver lining So to does every Nelson I've ever, ever been to have a 300…

Wotcha.... Been going thru most of the pics in the rides ection deciding on which alloys would look best on my (stock) Jspaec Z, and I've decided that yours are thw winner!!! You say they are Kosei, but which type precisely?? Had a quick browse and they look like the Kosei 'Sniper'.. is this right??? Also would you mind letting me know what sort of price range they're in... Assuming you got them as a wheel/tyre set, this obviously depends on what tyres you got too. AND FINALLY.... also quite taken by the side skirting.. where the f**k would I source a pair of these, and again, how much are we talking?? Thanks in advance bud, Smurf

not to cause a massive debate but i am still looking for the right tt and while searching i have visited this site regularly. i just wondered how much a tt is going to cost to maintain, are they as expensive as the sellers state or are they reasonably acceptable? i realise that arent your regular car so will be fairly expensive.anyone got any idea on maintenance costs and reliability since buying theirs?

I have had a few probs with the Z last couple of days.....anyway to cut a long story (Read the technical section!) took the Z over to Jeff's this afternoon and he located the problem and sorted it with the help of his probe.... Dodgy connection.......should have guessed... One of my injectors wasn't firing and now it is after some removal of corrosion (green and fluffy) and cleaning of the join all seems now to be fine. Cheers Dr. Z.....and his trusty probe...LMAO Matty. ------------------ Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce... (sorry no sound!) LOL
