Ok folks, the time has come to ask another basic question so thus please forgive my genuine ignorance. Firstly how hard/easy is it to install the above ? Can a mug like me install this myself (plug and play) or do I need to go to a guru ? Also where do I get one of these gadgets ?

motor factor told me 2 use semi 5w30 in the car wud this be ok because i thought that it was 10w30 mineral from factory?

An interesting one from a bit further afield than normal... Just been on holiday in sunny Krakow and saw no sports cars whatsoever except for a rather nice pearl yellow twin-turbo Z :D parked outside a bar on Ul. Sienna just off Rynek Glowny (the main market square). A pleasant surprise to say the least! Quite a good specimen with a subtle body kit (rear and bonnet). Any takers? ;)

the other day while looking down the N/S of the engine i came across a plug that isnt attached to anything, i thought it maybe from the old alarm but it looks too good for an alarm and goes into a another loom!!!!! im confused :headvswal please help i hope these pics attach lol

Listers I thought my car was fitted with stock shocks but I think stock shock part numbers are:-? FRONT 56110-VP125 REAR 56210 33P25 What is fitted to mine are Nissanstamped mfronts part number 56210 33P12 and rears silver labelled Nissan and Tokico part number 56110 30P01 Can anyone inform me as to what has been done here. Hi all, first post for me :dance: After many years, I finally got the 300zx that i've wanted since seeing one in 1994! just got my grubby mits on a set of Brembo grooved and dimpled front disks. Anyone know which way round they go. Sounds like another of my dumb questions but this is what i mean: BACK--->FRONT or FRONT--->BACK Help

ive just bought 2 T28s and an ecu with a chip that says 460hp. will theses turbos have uprated seals that will be ok to run when de-catted. and also how much are recon seal kits for them before i stick them on? cheers Fraser

I needed to replace the head unit in my Z (check My Rides for what I replaced it with) and due to the previous owner hacking it to pieces I needed to replace the centre console bit that the head unit is mounted behind. The boys at Z-Tech kindly provided me with the brackets I needed, so I just needed the console panel. The head unit is in now and I have a cunning little switch for raising and lowering the arial, which means I don't have to drive around with it up even when I'm listening to a CD, or through the iPod attachment. if you are running 1 bar should it be hitting it in all gears? on my avcr sometimes it only goes to 0.89 then maybe it 1.03 depends on gear is this correct or should it hit 1 bar in all gears cheerz kev

Hi I need to replace my pass side TB because the old one is scored where the butterfly closes and it jams all the time, I have been searching various sites and forums but fopund no write up etc, Does anyone know where i can find the info to help me replace my TB and balance them up. :bow:

I have seen a Nismo stabilizer on ebay for 12 quid. They claim to stabilise voltage on the system which can give better performance of electrical kit and more tourque apparently. I have loads of electrical stuff, boost controller, gauges, gps, informeter etc. I know that Vince has one as he slaped my hand when i poked it and asked whats that for! Can anyone tell me if they are worth getting or just a gimmik?

Has anyone used any sort of Coolant leak seal products like K-seal??? I don't want it as a permenant repair like they say, just a temporary seal so i can use the car for a few weeks and to drive it the 100 odd miles to south west z to get the head gasket done. Any information would be great. Any better or recommended idea's you have so it's possible for light use of car and trip to SWZ would be great. I'm probably better off puting it on a trailer and not using it but i am without a vechicle at the mo and i need to get around. If i'm gunna do ireversable damage then i'll walk. Has anyone installed one of these ? Just wanted to know if it was simple plug and play or did I need serious tech skills to hook this on ? If it is simple to install then where do you plug it to ? Finally, are there other alternatives to the above ?

Hi, I just (yesterdy!) bought a UK Spec Twin-Turbo auto with 137k miles on the clock (and still going strong!). Unfortunately, I do not have an Owner's Handbook (although if anyone has one for sale, please let me know) and do not, therefore, know the recommended spec of engine oil to use. Can someone PLEASE tell me what engine oil is best suited to my car (semi / fully synthetic and what grade e.g. 10w40). I've spent the last hour searching this site and am still none the wiser! MANY thanks!

Right I'm gonna remove my Air Con over the next few days... Has anyone on here got a picture they wouldn't mind posting of the pully set up from the front of then engine so I know what I can and can't take off??!!! Many Thanks.... Don't wanna cut the wrong belts!!
