Is it safe to totally remove the AIV valves + how important are they because i had to remove them to fit new lambo door hinges the other day but was wondering if i could re-locate them or just do away with them. :headvswal Would removing them not affect the running of the car or not f**k anything up? Its a TT and it aint been de-catted.

If my zeds performance is not suffering and it boosts ok but it smokes when given stick or shortly afterwards whats the matter with it? I really am losing patience with these god forsaken cars. Had an engine swap performed by a certain garage and thought the engine would have been checked before it was transplanted from the donor car. hello zx forum wondering if you can tell me if the block used on the z31 namely the vg30et is the same used for the later z32 vg30dett. I appreciate the cylinder heads are quite diffierent but would the block be usefull for a donour to the z32 for future rebuilds etc. cheers Paul ps@ever88.fsnet.co.uk

Does anybody know, what address in the ECU, controls the temperature that the cooling fan starts and stops at. I would like to reduce the start temperature of the fan down to a realistic value, rather that the current "bugger - I'm overheating" setting.

Has any tried or any experience of teh Japspeed exhaust system for sale on ebay - the seller is 2FAST2COOL and has dects and cta back systems for sale. The cat-back has a cross-over for 'better sound' is this right or will it sound like a tractor?

Can anyone recommend a good place in N E Lincs to get my zed serviced. I used to use Falcon Enginneering in Middlesbrough (who I can highly recommend, steve and his team are brilliant) :bow: but I have moved near to Grimsby and need somewhere nearer. Cheers, Steve.

I was driving my Zed yesterday. I noticed the torque converter wasn't locking up and overdrive wasn't operating at all. I stopped. Turned the car off and started it again. The POWER light flashed 16 (I think) times. Then the car was totaly fine again. It's done this a handful of times over the last two and a half years. Is it trying to tell me something? Is something wrong? Is it two cars welded together?

Just been reading a thread saying too light steering may be releted to speedo conversion. Mine's a fresh import fitted with uk clocks and speedo works ok. Will this still have a converter of some sort on it? If so could this give the steering brain duff info so steering thinks car is going a lot slower than it is and increases power assist? Could this also be why autobox can't make up it's mind whether to be in 3rd or overdrive? Done some searches on this but still not figured it out.

I saw a silver zed near Locks bottom Tuesday at about 8pm. I think it had a black bonnet. Looked very nice. I was in the black zed going in the opposite direction

my oil pressure is always around 0-5, is that normal? if not what should it be around then, i have 90 tt thanks
