Can anyone recommend a good place in N E Lincs to get my zed serviced. I used to use Falcon Enginneering in Middlesbrough (who I can highly recommend, steve and his team are brilliant) :bow: but I have moved near to Grimsby and need somewhere nearer. Cheers, Steve.

I was driving my Zed yesterday. I noticed the torque converter wasn't locking up and overdrive wasn't operating at all. I stopped. Turned the car off and started it again. The POWER light flashed 16 (I think) times. Then the car was totaly fine again. It's done this a handful of times over the last two and a half years. Is it trying to tell me something? Is something wrong? Is it two cars welded together?

Just been reading a thread saying too light steering may be releted to speedo conversion. Mine's a fresh import fitted with uk clocks and speedo works ok. Will this still have a converter of some sort on it? If so could this give the steering brain duff info so steering thinks car is going a lot slower than it is and increases power assist? Could this also be why autobox can't make up it's mind whether to be in 3rd or overdrive? Done some searches on this but still not figured it out.

Finally got my car nearly back together... and it started first time! but noticed that the amb temp is showing (-86) I havnt removed anything that i havnt put back... any help? :rant:

I saw a silver zed near Locks bottom Tuesday at about 8pm. I think it had a black bonnet. Looked very nice. I was in the black zed going in the opposite direction

my oil pressure is always around 0-5, is that normal? if not what should it be around then, i have 90 tt thanks

When you select power mode what is it thats actually going on ?

Is there an easy way of replacing the front tie rod dust boots? which are the corragated rubber ones shown in the picture below. Will it be a matter of taking the front whhels off breaking the ball joint undoing the nut adjuster on the middle of the tie rod and slipping old boot off and putting new one on? Just want to know what Engine Mounts most owners are using in there Z32 and the Difference's if any over Oem :) .

just a wee bit of advice please,removing standard spoiler is there any step by step guide of how to do it on here anywhere,also just below the spoiler where nissan and twin turbo is written (black strip)whats behind it,its getting taty wanna peel it off any one done it,cheers :dance:

near the new B&Q/park and ride. 4.20pm today.

Im planning on having some work done in the near future on the engine. The plenum will be removed and new hydraulic lifters being fitted. So going to need plenum gasket and rocker gaskets. How much further work is involved in fitting new forged pistons at this point and can you just fit forged pistons (and na squirters) without having to hone(bore the heads)? Thanks in advance Barry

guys need some advice asap, as you know im breaking my car, & have some one who wants the engine, problem is cars in my drive & i only have few tools & trolley jack, so whats involved & how long can it take to remove engine, the person who wants to buy it seems genuine he suggested that if i remove much as possible he will take car up to his place & take engine out as he is a mechanic & wants the engine for a ongoing project which is a old ford by the way & once engine is out he will drop the car back to my address, so what should i do ?? all help/advice appreciated

does any1 know where i can find (or even if it exists)... a wiring diagram for the plug arrangement on the back of the instrument panel for a UK SPEC zed? the one below is the jap spec, but the plug and circuit board are completely different on the uk spec... any ideas?

Saw it at 8.30am, I was travelling the other way towards Wiltshire!

Are all SWB models imports? I read somewhere that all TT UK cars were 2+2.... Is this true? Just need to find out to save me alot of time, as im really only interested in the SWB version. (like to be impractical!)
