Anyone know where I can get some front calipers from for a UK 1993 T/T. he dealer wants a fortune for stock items. Steve.

Need to get 4 alloys and tyres from Cirencester to Cheshire and 4 discs/calipers/backing plates from Cheshire to Kent. Have been doing searches including ebay couriers. Anyone know who is cheapest?

well my check engine light was on to i pulled the code and it told me a code 51 and i dont know what code this is another thing is that the check engine light and the red led on the ecu are on at the same time im confused whats a code 51

Hi guys, i would like to get my none turbo ZX super chip so that i can get a bit more speed. does anyone knows if doing this is a good idea, will it cause any major damage to my car, your advice is most wellcome :cool:

When I have my main beam on and use the indicators, the side light next to the indicator on the front bumper comes on and stay on until I cancel the indicator. Same for both indicators! Are these supposed to be my front fogs as they do not come on when I press the front fog switch but my headlights seem to go brighter. Also, only the the round lights inside the headlights come on full beam. Is this right? :confused:

This afternoon/evening on Bear Flat. Standard looks apart from a high rise spoiler on the rear!

It was misfiring above 4k rpm, also had code 34. I rewired the connector and reset the ecu, no more code 34, all clear. Changed the maf and the misfiring stopped on low boost but still there on high boost. Also got code 34 again! When it misfires i cant hear any rattling, its just total power loss. Im going to change the plugs next but its really starting to pi** me off! What percentage should my a/f be at idle and full throttle? Is my car detting?

is it possible to change the diode pack with out removing the alternator? if not , how dificult is it to remove the alternator? and does anyone have a photo showing where they are in the car? thanks

Does anyone know what alloys from other manufacturers would fit a Zed??? (pics would be nice :D ) I have these pics of a Zed wearing 18" TVR alloys but was wondering what others would fit.

my locks are messed up and it jsut happened recently, okay so i open the door, i lock it and it locks the driver and passanger door, i close the door and little lockingy hangle pops out so i can see the orange part and it sends a signal to the passanger door and unlocks that one too, so basically i cant lock my car and this just started happening yesterday, also when i turn the car on the locks used to lock and now i hear the click noise but they dont lock and whne i turn the car off and take the key out they used to unlock but now i hear the clikc noise as if it was tryign to unlock but it doesnt work, i also have an alarm and i have keyless entry and when i try to open/…

Does anyone know if it is legal for someone to charge VAT on secondhand goods and can it also be charged on postage? there is an item on EBay that is secondhand and the final price including postage is subject to VAT accoring to the seller?????

A Little Help Please!! How do you use a boost leak tester, Im not getting full boost until way up the rev range and even then its not really at max (stock gauge mind you). I presume you do more than remove the filter and MAF and just connect to intake pipe and pump away right? ;) thx guys :bow:

how the hell do you get 'em off!!!!!!!!!! :shock: sorry.... hi all!! Went to clean the throttle bodies yesterday..come to take the stock pipes off and jeez they were not moving anywhere!!!! There welded on the throttle housing!!! Tried to get a small screwdriver under there and start prizing them off but looked like the rubber may of started to split if i did that..anyone got any tips!??! Ta

Got a silver zed and I can see (especially in bright sunlight) that it's kind of faded on the bonnet. Like the silver is turning white or something. Not sure how to explain I should take a picture of it. Any idea what this is? Or if T-cut can sort it out? Cheers, Al

Right, think i am resolving the brakes problem so i only have to sort the problems of; No c/l working on passenger side? Speedo only works every now and then or flickers about? Any help to solve these probs would be great.

My good friend, David Boyce, username DAB1 was driving last Saturday (26th) in his 300zx, it had been raining heavily all day and he lost control of his car. The 300 went off the road and into a tree. He died from chest trauma. I know Dave was a 300zx fanatic and loved this site, so I thought for all those who have chatted with him about misc converstions and remember him would want to know. He genuinly was the nicest guy who I learnt a lot from and always had so much respect for, he was a father and husband. Looked std apart from the non-sexy space saver on the front offside.....

I popped round to see my folks yesterday and when I came to drive home I couldn't start my Z, because the immobiliser wouldn't disengage. I tried all three different fobs, all with the same effect (...like none). Even got the AA out and after taking everything apart he could bypass the starter, so that was working, but apparently it's linked in to the fuel line as well(?), so it still wouldn't start. Has anyone had any trouble like this before? Any tips?
