Hi there, When I bought my Z it had been fitted with a Sony head unit, presumably in the UK when was imported. I've just bought a JVC DVD head unit, and went to fit it yesterday to find the following... Instead of wiring the cables from the car into an ISO block, whoever fitted it wired straight into a Sony connector, which is no use for my new JVC unit! Does anyone know if there is an adapter to plug from the Sony connector to an ISO so I can plug that straight into the ISO connector on the JVC head unit? Or should I get the wires from the car rewired into an ISO block? If that's the case it'll be a trip to a car audio place I reckon... Cheers, Christ…

Since having my car converted from Auto to Manual I've noticed by Speedometer is out by about 20mph. In addition to this I now have a problem where the needle doesn't move at all and then bursts into life when it feels like it. Do I need to change the clock and once I have will I still have the 20mph error? It was suggested that when the gearbox is changed the speedometer needs to be changed. Anyone know if this is true or can anyone shed some light on a potential fix please? Thanks in advance. Jonno.

As the title suggests I am looking to buy a set of 99 spec rear lights. Where is the best place to go? Should I buy from a trader? If so, who is the cheapest? Has anyone bought them from the states? does it work out much cheaper? were there any problems with this route? I was trying to think of even more questions LOL but I think this is enough for a start...

Ok Guys and Gals need your help, I had my car up at at MJP for a G'box swap (Thanks Maxsunny btw G'box in perfect order!) anyhow while it was there asked him to look at a strange smoking problem that I have (not tubbies) and he reckons it's overfueling as theres loads of black soot in the downpipes etc. Anyhow did a full Conzult and this showed a dodgy 02 sensor on the left we then looked at the fuel map and he said it looked very strange he called it Plateaued, as if it was a get you running map and no tweaking had been done to get it right. Anyhow obviously I want to get this sorted... I have a few mods HKS induction, high flow cats (on car when I got it) and Superdr…

just bought my first zed from a guy in scotland. over the moon, shes a uk twin turbo manual. when i took her for a test drive all was well and the car pulled really hard. on the long journey home wen i pulled up at traffic lights or roundabouts the car would splutter or misfire quite badly until the revs got up a bit. it seems to be worse if you accelerate from low speed in top gear. also there is a vibration through the car around 40mph but seems worse in 5th. this smooths out as the speed gets up and disapears at 60-70. the guy reckons he put a set of plugs in from the local auto discount, seems like plug beakdown at low revs?? wont know till i check them tommorrow. bee…
