hey guys and girls. does anyone use a car battery charger and if so which one? i went over to halfords today but they all cost over £45, which isn't bad but i wasn't sure as to which one to buy! also seen a few in machine mart but again didn't really know what i was looking out for. can someone tell me what amps i should be looking out for and all recomendations are appreciated. cheers Gee

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone can spread some light with a problem. Im overfueling on one cylinder. The plug is soaked and its throwing black smoke and running like phoo!! :headvswal . The plugs are out so im changing them for better ones (which ones though).Its boosted and got a chip in. Im gonna do the usual and check for spark but what else could it be. O2 sensor?? PTU. Ive read many threads now but im stuck out here in Germany without help :rant: . Cus im over here i just cant start pulling stuff off bcus there aint much help. Cheers Jonce

So, I'm fancying one of those MOMO steering wheels when I realise that the cruise buttons are on the Z steering wheel. What do you do with them??. I don't want them in the dash!! :confused: HARTY.

i am going to try and make my own engine internals ie rods,pistons and so on i have access to all materiels and machines i need to do it but i need the actual specifications of the h rods and forged pistons and so on is there anyone that would have this on here if possible please

hi do you remember selling me the BREMBO gtr front brake pads back in april, well i've come round to fitting them and they are not gtr pads i've traced what they are off.....nissan patrol??? Hello, I am in need of some knowledge on the size of, and type of pipework used in the hicas lines that run from the front (under passenger footwell) to the rear hicas saftey valve block. It looks to be of a steel type below the rust and leaking fluid on mine, but someone out there will hopefully know for sure. Cookie

Hi guys i was wondering if you could help me with a problem that is not for a 300zx,i know it's a bit of a cheak but my son has a 200sx and it slightly overheated the other day due to him fitting a greddy breather tank wrongly thus mucking up the circulation ,anyway steam was coming out of the expansion tant right next to his blitz induction filter,now the car will not fire up,iv'e checked that fuel is getting past the filter,and iv'e checked that there is a spark at the plugs,could the steam have mucked up the maf,thus screwing with the fueling?any ideas would be much appriciated,i was going to buy a second hand maf and try that but wondered if you had any thoughts cheer…

Can you believe this, I got a quote from the local Nissan dealership for an oil and filter change. Took it down today to be done, just looked at the invoice properly, and realised that they have changed the oil (Motul 300v Chrono 5w 40), and NOT changed the filter!!!! I thought I would just give them another go (they damaged my bumper last oil change, although it had already been damaged before I got car, so I left that). Have you EVER heard of anyone changing oil in a car like this, and NOT the filter, I just can't believe it!?! i have a manual twin turbo zx which the engine went in,i was woundering if i could use a non turbo engine and put all the turbo parts onto it....in other words would it be safe and could it be done to run turbo parts on an non turbo engine :confused:

I would like advice on dump valves if possible. I've seen various Z's claiming they have Blitz dump valves fitted. When I spoke to Blitz on the phone I was informed that they do not do a particular dump valve for the Z, only a universal one. I have been told that if I get a unversal one it would need a bracket and some welding would need to be involved. As I know diddly squat about welding I was wondering how big a job this would be. Price quoted for the universal dump valve was £220. Can anyone confirm if they have had the universal dump valve fitted or whether it's a blitz dump valve from a different model car. I have a set of these alloys : http://www.ne.jp/asahi/z32/na/images2/foot.jpg and would like to have them refurbed. In order to do this I will need to remove the 40ish lugs around the inside lip. Unfortunately they dont seem to accept an allen key, torx driver (inside the lug) or socket (outside of the lug) I have tried to see if the BBS web site has anything but no good. had the zed for six years never let me down, however about a month ago started to idle erratic from cold, spoke to smithy about and decided on a major service , bits from him, here,s the twist yesterday when i started the car from cold its trying cut out, i drove off 8 miles later it stops cuts out , wont start , gets rac out ,heads scratched, 5hours later the zed,s on a flatbed heading home, whats going on,all sorts of nastys going thru my head , any ideas guys if you have a spare minute or two, thanks
