General Discussions - 300ZX Related

As a few of you know that there is a "cheap copy" of the HKS FMIC kit. But as a matter of fact i have found out from two sources that the one on ebay that sells for £350 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Front-Mount-Intercooler-Nissan-300ZX-Z32-89-94_W0QQitemZ250072914555QQihZ015QQcategoryZ10402QQcmdZViewItem) is infact made in the same place as the HKS FMIC, in other words HKS buy from autobahn88.. They also show you how they are made (http://www.carparts.com.hk/heatexchange.htm) Just thought i would let you know what i have found :cool:

In an attempt to keep the car looking as standard as possible but at the same time upgrading the brakes to R33's or from a 350 what's does everyone think about using spacers with the standard wheels, will this give me the offset i need to put bigger brakes on or is it also the internal diameter of th wheels i need to increase hence go from 16" to 18" so i can fit the brakes inside th wheel....... Just a thought!

what psi boost requires the use of cometic head gaskets.my new tubs will run 22psi according to Z1 in the states.i planned on using stock ones when i rebuild the engine as ive been told they will take it.????

hello all, i'm in the middle of my rebuilt and was wondering which injector should I use! I have the Nismo 555cc with the nismo FPR but was wondering if this gonna be enought. The turbo i'm using are TD05-16G, i have forged piston, forged rods and metallic head gasket. Any advice? Should i sell the 555cc, FPR and buy PE 850cc kit from Z1motorsport? Thank you

Well my indiglo dials are finally fitted in my Zed, whoop :dance: I can't take any credit as I got the auto electrician to pick my car up from work in the morning, re-wired my front lights (had bad connections), fitted my dials and calibrated my speedo and kindly returned my car to work for me to finish and ride her home. I know that most of you (who got them) will be fitting them yourself but I quite enjoyed this way. :)

how hard is it to change oil and gear box coolers is it a DIY job??
