Just wondering as I can't think of any. Would have said Spongey's, but his was resprayed from a red car. Just wondering who has an original pearl white TT 2+2 manual? ...ie came from the factory in pearl white and is still pearl white.

I've been having boost problems for a couple of weeks, It only comes on full boost at about 5000rpm when it used to be 3000. At 3000 it's only on about 3-4psi :( . I've had a good check around for a possible boost leak and have so far been unsuccessful. It also has a metallic tinkling sound coming from the turbo area which you can only hear at around 2-2500rpm as the throttle is let off. I took it to my local garage today (he's done work for me before) and he had a listen to it and suggested that it could be the actuator. He's getting it up on the ramps for a proper inspection on Tuesday, anything else he should look for? If it is the actuator, is it servicable/adjustable…

How big of a job is it to convert my hicas (hydraulic, series 2 TT) into electronic hicas. and is it the same system as on the skyline gts's. reason i ask this is because iv found a gtst in a scrapyard with electronic hicas and my hicas is leaking at the back somewhere. any info welcome cheers danny

Hey guys, I should have my new Z in a week or two and its currently standard (preformance) apart from an Exhaust. Whats the easiest.....And preferably the cheapest :) way of getting to approx. 400BHP. Cheers. Ethan

hi, new to the forum but had a couple of zeds. can anyone tell me the differences in the turbo + bhp between jap spec manuals and autos? if completed an auto to manual conversion, but have been told the auto turbos are smaller and are only 280bhp, where the manual is 300bhp. is this correct? and would it be worth swopping them? cheers rob

Hi Mate - i can't beleive it, the first time I see another Zed and my Girlfriend is driving my car! She didnt know where the flash was, so i waved.. Looks nice, first time i've seen a white zed in the flesh...very nice

what do you think? The centres still have to be polished and the bore needs enlarging to sit back by 10mm but you get a good idea what they'll look like. Do you still think go for polished centres or go for black? :rolleyes:

MOT passed ok :cool: !! However, I didn't have time to speak to them and I had a couple of advisorys which hopefully someone can explain... Osf and Nsf shock weaping....err what?? Brake tested by taply meter...I know what the brake is!! But dunno about a taply meter. Any thoughts would be appreciated as usual...

Hi guys, and girls obviousley!! After a long search, and even a few attempts of making my own, I have found a guy willing to supply carbon dash bezels for 35 quid all in. If anyone is interested, let me know as i'll be putting my order in next Saturday. If you would like one, I would let money up front as i've been let down before. He has no pics of the 300zx bezels at present, but looks like this below. Also, he can supply the dash kits, there arnt cheap, because they are good quallity, about 90 quid!!

Like the look on some other zeds but can't decide how it will suit mine. My tailgate is pretty tatty and the spoiler a wreck. Ive now got another tailgate with unfortunately another mashed spoiler (what is it with those things :confused: ) and whilst I'm waiting to fit it may have my body work guy take the spoiler off and smooth it out. Sooo, anyone got any pics of the above to help me make up my mind? Thanks

Right at this moment in time i'm poised on completing my wheels, The rims are polished and the centres are being polished mid february. The wheels themselves are from a supra so have a centre bore of 60mm, the zed being 66.10mm I will probably end up having to fit spacers, now here's the question: The centre of the hubs on a zed have the inner bore locator that comes up by 3-5mm and locks into the centre of the wheel to stop it from moving about. If i fit spacers surely this won't locate any more so is there any point in having the centres bored out to 66mm if a spacer would bypass this anyway as they're just plates with no locator. Is it nec…

Hi does anyone know roughly what oil pressure a 300tt should run at as am fitting new aftermarket oil pressure gauge as standard one is up and down sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Any help greatly appreciated

As above, does anyone happen to have a photo of a Z without the rear seats? I'm not going over to the bodyshop till the end of next week now and though I can take one then, it would be helpful if I could look at one now to give me a head start on the designs for the interior build. As title :D Can you guess why I've bought this for Eliza? Just visited JNE website and someone kindly took the first pictures of my Zed (since I owned it). As you can see all the Zeds that turned up are shown in the first pic. Glad I gave her a quick wash the night before.
