Hi all, as you know the zed was overheating, have taken it to pieces and found out the problems.. 1 metal turbo pipe had a whole in it as did 3 hoses.. Nissan do not have the turbo pipe in stock till 23rd feb so have cut off the end of the old one and rewelded a new end on to it and have replaced some rubber hosing which had holes in it now she is fine, runs a lot better :)

Putting my car back together, going very well so far. Put my polished water pipes on today. tightening the last bolt on the lower water pipe that covers the stat. snapped the stud off about half way along! :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal Its now too short to bolt the water pipe on! I swore and threw a spanner at the shed! :wack: Already spoke to slick pete who has successfuly removed a stud from an old block by using two nuts against each other. Looking for some 12mm titainium allen bolts now to do all of them!

OK Im in two minds of what to do, ive owned my zed for about 3yrs now and wanting to start modding it in a big way but ive had a notion for a escort cossie for a long time now and i just dont know whether to sell up and go for the cossie or to start the modding prosses on my zed! The other thing is that my zeds a standard 93spec uk spec tt manual with only 50k on the clock and in mint condition! All the orginal stickers full service history etc etc etc, the only thing that it has is clear side repeaters. It just feels like a shame to start modding it now! :nono: I was thinking of buying another zed that has a bit of work done but this will mean i have …

I love my Z32 tt more than any other car ive owned, even though i have done less than 500 miles in 18 months. Partly because of a gearbox failure, & partly because i got fed up with it. Just put my autobox back in with new seals & a new torque convertor still no drive ................ I guess the box is knackered, btw it was nt cheap, but had it about a year so i suppose i cant complain now, thought it was T/C .been in /out 3 times now  but i do have a spare lol  I have bought a few over time, anyway ordered new propshaft bolts today, as the last set where ***** So monday will start over again lol …

I had the thought of painting my drab grey front and rear brake calipers red with the nissan logo in white. But the 300zx server manual often mentions do not remove x bolts from the calipers. Can i dismantle the brake calipers to just the housing to paint them red?

I'm having trouble removing the sticker on the bonnet. I've tried the kettle method but it doesn't soften it at all because it's not like vinyl graphics that peel off easy. The only possible way is if it's sliced with a razor bit by bit and it looks as if someone had allready had a go at that.........any other ideas??
